Ok guys, I saw this real cool 1980 gmc astro thats kind of a junker but ok condition and took a picture of it and decided to do a replica of it. But the amt astro kit only comes with the older 70s style grille so to replicate the truck,I made a new one out of styrene. But first, heres the real truck. Now,heres the model.

A man was working in a fish plant cutting fish with a cutting machine. Then there was a terrible disaster. He cut off all ten fingers. So he rushed to the hospital and the doctor assured him that they had the most advanced procedures and could have his fingers all sewn back on and he will be as good as new. So the doctor said Well lets get started, where are the fingers? And the man replied Well how the hell was I supposed to pick them up?!

Hank's truck pictures

One day I kept getting a webpage not found notice on it but the next day it was back on. You could try again tomorrow and it might work. -
I just thought I would post this for reference. It came from the evergreen styrene site.

This kit started out as the AMT Ford Louisville coca cola delivery truck but I glued the box van part together all wrong and I could not use that. So I was left with the cab and chassis and this is what I made. The frame was also shortened and I made a new shifter. Te extra tractor trailer parts came from other AMT kits.

Dont mind me guys. Im just complaining about something that really has me mad. I dont understand what is going on with ebay lately. People are listing starting prices so high and shipping is outrageous. Im loosing almost everything I bid on because people are bidding prices way out of my range. I mean I know you bid what you want but it just dosent seem fair. People are starting models (and mostly not the really rare ones) at 25 dollars or so plus sometimes 15 dollars shipping. I usually try to look for good deals but its getting impossible. And I also noticed that there havent been as many listings either. And people think that just because its their item or because they found it its worth 200 dollars or something. And then they try to make an extra 5 or 10 bucks on sipping by charging you 15 instead of 10 and so on. And tons of times I see the items with the outrageous starting prices end with no bids. I mean dont they realize that people are not going to buy one kit (unless its something that you will only see once in your lifetime) that they have to spend half of their paycheck on. Well just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

Hi guys. I have a general question. Where can I find a 1/25 scale dog figure like for dioramas and things. I looked online a little bit, but only found a couple expensive things. I noticed some of you guys have a dog figure in your dioramas so maybee you could tell me. Or even if I could find one to make more out of resin. thanks Brian

Do you keep the box?
car lover 1996 replied to Hattley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I keep all the boxes, instructions, empty trees, extra parts and extra decals. I have a spot for empty boxes and unbuilt kits. -
