  1. I've been working on a similar project, only with the AMT '66 hardtop. The AMT '67 chassis fits the '66 body well, with the wheel base very close (not dar enough along to know about the track). However, you will also need to cut the underhood/inner fender wells from the '67 body to use on the '66. That piece fits well also. The problem I've run into is the interior fitment. As mentioned above, the old kit is a tub while the new is built up from the chassis. I cut out the floor of the tub to fit it onto the chassis but it sits too low for the tops of the doors. I tried to add sheet plastic to the bottoms of the tub but it didn't look right. That is as far as I got before it went back in the box. Ironically, I deleted the pic I had of it yesterday when cleaning up my pic files on a new computer! I am away from the workshop for a couple of weeks, but if you would like to see my progress, let me know and I'll get some more pictures.
  2. I've ordered several items from Hobbylink over the course of 5yrs and have always had delivery within 5-7 days. I might add that this always exceeded my expectations because of the uncertanties of ordering things from overseas. If you are concerned, I would try contacting the company to check the order. I have never heard of a bad experience with this company, though I would guess that it could happen.
