Just wanted to see how many of you are buying less hobby related items because of gas prices? Do you buy online more to save the travel of going to a hobbyshop and find out that what you needed is not in stock? How many just have stated to take kits out of the pile and build those instead of getting new kits because the gas prices have tapped in to your modeling fund? I know that the gas prices will limit the events I attend. Hope to be at ACME NNL.

You are better casting the tire in one piece. You may want to get a pressure pot to get all of the air bubbles out Harbor Freight has them for 39.99. As far as making a master in Aluminum it won't be cost effective unless you know someone to make it for free. One master could run you as high as 200.00 I have looked into those possibilities. Remember humity and resin don't get along.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE QUALITY AND DETAIL OF 1/43 RACING STEP UP TO THE SAME AS 1/32 THEN THAT WOULD BE THE SCALE TO RACE. YOU HAVE RESIN COMPANIES WITH DETAIL PARTS, DECALS ETC. THAT WOULD MAKE THIS A BLAST AND WOULD COMPLEMENT THE 1/43 MODEL BUILDING AS WELL.. NOT TO MENTION STORING THESE THINGS WOULD BE BETTER AS WELL.

Not true about the magnets. I ran at a regional NINCO race and it was magnetless it is getting even more popular. It evens out the cars and you can race different manufactures together. This is the way they run the cars across the pond. Ariel
