Like many, I built when I was young then abandoned the hobby during high school and college. I returned to the hobby in 1985 and have been modeling ever since. My modeling subjects are varied, however, I do find myself coming back to replica stock builds more than any other genre.

Married with two kids, both grown and out of the house. My wife supports my passion for cars in any scale, including 1:1. I am truly a lucky man. In addition to modeling, I also like to draw and paint, cars being my preferred subject matter.

My dad started his career as an assembly line painter for American Motors in Kenosha, WI. After five years with the plant, he worked as a autobody man doing collision repair. He built and restored old cars his entire adult life. It was his passion for cars that inspired my own. His last project was a '40 Dodge Pick-up that I inherited upon his death (my avatar). It's been street rodded and remains a work in progress.

I look forward to following the progress of other modelers on this forum, as I continue to develop my own skills.
