  2. As for my last builds I have never used a wash. I find "painting" them in looks almost cartoonish. But I doo like the look of scribed pannels and a transparrent wash as per Steve. I am currently working on a kit and I have been scribing and washing between the coats and think I have found my prefered way do accenting the pannels. As for decals I dislike when they are placed over pannel lines rather than cut and placed appropriately. Just my oppinion... Chris
  3. One of my last builds before my long break from modeling. Now that I'm back ito it again this is what I have done. It is a strait box build and will eventually rebuild it. Sorry for the pic quality, I am only using my Blackberry till I can get a dig. camera. I've learnt alot since these days and even got a BFA, So my new builds should look a lot better

  11. Well finnally I am back into modeling, and here is the results so far. I am doing the SHO Taurus from Robocop. I am doing some slight mods from a headliner, adjustable headrests, flocking the carpet and I think the colour will be slightly lighter than the originalto creat some depth to the finnished body.   12. Well this is one of the best, informative post I've seen on DIY spraybooths . Thanks guys I have been pondering how to do one in my set up and I think I will use parts from both ideas. I love the fan and the pocket lights. Can't wait to get off work and build my own!
  13. Not a lot of snow. Up here in Ontario Canada we get snow in mesured feet LOL . But looking at the video I don't think its the snow wich is the problem. I am guessing its the ice . Only car I've ever wrecked was because of ice, man I HATE ice !!!

  15. Hey all, my name is Chris from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Been out of modeling for a few years and after buying a house and putting together a "Man Cave" I am finaly back. Watching the forum the last couple of weeks has been a blast and very inspiring. Just got my new airbrush and can't wait to start on some kits. Well thats all for now, and see you in the forums .
