I finished this one up today. I used the USA 1 monster truck kit and the 72 chevy kit. Most of the kit is from the monster truck kit other than the body and interior.
looking good I like the look of the tires on there. are they the no name off road tires that look like swampers from mas resin I was thinking about getting a set but i was wondering about what size they where thanks

its actually on my bday also. We are going in with a local armor club on this they are handling the armor side and we are doing the auto part of the show. I am not sure about how many classes yet but there is going to be 1st and 2nd in each class. Registration is 9 to 12 and its going to be $5 for the 1st car and $1 for all others. If you have any more question just let me know. when we get a flyer printed up I will try and scan it and put it in this thread

heres my 55 ford I shaved the hood rib and emblems and also shaved the door handles and the vent window in the doors. other than wheels and tires the rest in built out of the box. I painted it ruby red metalic. heres the pics
I finished this one up the other night so i decided to go ahead and post up some pics of the it finished. I am wanting to build a dio for it but it will probally be awhile before i get to it though
it was brush painted a long time ago blue and then when i got my airbrush I tried it out on that truck with the aqua color. Then I just sanded it with some rough grit sandpaper to let the blue come through and then just dry brushed the rust on.
I have always wanted to try and build a junker so here is my first attempt. Its a 1950 chevy snaptite kit that i have had awhile and was missing some pieces so its what i decided to practice on. I am not finished with it yet i am building a wood bed to put on the back of it and probally a dio for it later on. here is what i have so far
looking good in the first post how did you weather the wood for the bed? and also what are you using for the wood popsicle sticks or balsa wood? thanks
