  2. don't know how i missed this one but good work on the frame cant wait to see more progress
  3. I could use an extra set of the stepside fenders. the ones I am using now are the ones that came in the 53 ford kit and the have the indention on the side where the lights go and I really don't like the way they look.I think the stock ones would look better thanks
  4. I have been thinking about building this for awhile and my model club is having a 55 56 57 any make any model build off so i thought this would be the time to get the vision out of my head. I havent done much yet but some cutting and glueing and alot of tape to get an idea. The wheels are from the snap tite chevy wrecker and the tires are 38 in TSL. I will probaly be slow on this since there is going to be alot of body work to get it to look right. here is a pic of the mock up. I have until July to get it finished so hopefully I can make the deadline
  5. this turned out good great job

  7. yea its the one with the single boom its red on the box I think its a repop of an older kit. the decals are dons towing. and the sleeper and the fifth wheel all came in the kit with it
  8. Here is a pete 359 that I am working on. It is the amt kit that sposed to be a wrecker but I am building it with the fifth wheel on it. This is the first big truck i have ever attempted I started on it probaly 4 or 5 years ago and got the frame and motor put together and lost interest and put it away. I am now going to try and get it finished up. I am debating whether or not to put the sleeper on it or not. I was wanting to get some feedback on what everyone thinks thanks with sleeper without sleeper

  14. I finished this one up pics in underglass
  15. The cab and bed are resin from blue oval resins. The interior is from a 97 F150 Extended cab. The frame is from the 97 f150 also with a snakebite frame grafted on. The suspension and axles are also from the snakebite kit. The motor is a holman moody 427 out of an old nascar kit. I added BMF and I wired the motor and battery.
  16. I am also going to be looking at this one great start cant wait to see more
  17. good job at combining the 2 it turned out great
  18. Here is my 60 Chevy I finished it up a few months back but couldn't find a bed cover for it and just didn't like the way it looked without one. I finally got around to making a bed cover and painting it so its finally done. I cut the bed floor out and cut the back half of the frame off and scratch built another frame back half to make it low. I used the stock axle and rear arms but made some air bags out of rubber o rings for the back. I also used the motor and front suspension from a nascar race truck kit. I also added airbags to the front. the interior is stock. The rims came out of a monte carlo donks kit. I also shaved everything off the rear and molded the tailgate in. This was my first attempt at a lowered truck. heres the pics
