  1. It's because I'll spend a bunch of time assembling something, then step back and it seems I haven't made any progress. I also lose my temper very easily so I'm sure that doesn't help.
  2. Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in Modeling Q&A... Alright, on to the topic. I just can't finish a build! I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I paint all my parts, and assemble them as I go. Then after getting mad and boxing it, I only come back to find the same problem. It's a dumb question I know, it's just really bothering me.
  3. PERFECT!!! Thanks. I'll have to print these out.
  4. Awesome
  5. I hope you're kidding me. A bad model? Looks perfectly fine to me! And nobody would've noticed those things if you wouldn't have pointed them out
  6. It took me 5 months. I'm a stupidly slow builder and I can't figure out why
  7. By far the Revell '55 Chevy Pro Sportsman.
  8. Very nice Brett. Please post them, maybe it could help keep this thread from completely dying.
  9. Glad to see other people feel the same. I'll be honest, when I was new at the internet, I was guilty of this a few times. But I realized how annoying it is.
  10. Hmm....try putting masking tape in the windows. That prevents the overspray from going through the window to the other side of the body.
  11. Thanks, but I'm still very far away from you though
  12. Very nice work you got going Tyrone. I hate it whenever you post a build because it only makes me wish I could build as good as you
  13. Yeah I'm using Goggle Chrome also, but haven't had any problems. By the way, you stole "Goggle" from me
  14. Nice builds everyone. Anyone else out there?
  15. Yeah. And if the pictures are a page or two back, I don't see why you couldn't quote them. It's when it's the next reply has them, that's what makes me mad.
  16. Sorry if this is a bit out of line... Can we please keep quoting pictures to a minimum? It really helps those with slower connections. All you have to do is this: You really don't need to quote pictures if it's the first reply to the topic Again, if this isn't allowed, please delete it.
  17. Sweet. The engine is from the Monogram Chevelle, correct?
  18. I believe you mean Aristotle. And yes, I agree with your sentence.
  19. Sorry for never answering And yes, that is the engine. The truck looks awesome too
  20. Probably enamel. I have a feeling that lacquer would melt the foam.
  21. You know what's weird? I was just trying to find that tutorial today But I failed...
  22. Enamel is the shiniest straight from the can, but I've always thought with some effort lacquer can be much shinier.
  23. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/crate_engines/ford_performer_438.shtml Why not?
  24. Nice. I wish my first one came out that good!
