That looks sharp!! I remember when the original was built and it was covered in Hot Rod magazine way back when. I also felt the 1:1 car's paint was too dark and hid the custom lines of the car. Your color choice does it more justice.
I'm just getting back into the hobby after not having built anything in nearly 20 years. I'm hoping to someday replicate my two current 1:1 rides through display models. I drive a 1996 Camaro and a 2000 Corvette.
I owned a 1974 and a 1977 Chevelle, so this bodystyle has a special meaning for me. I've been sitting on the resin Laguna body (NASCAR version) for nearly 20 years. I just never found the rest of the pieces to put it together as a street car. Thanks for posting an actual build.
Beautiful work, design, and craftsmanship!
I have an early 80's publication showing the development of the 2nd generation Camaros. I can almost picture your idea sliding right in there with those design studies GM sorted through. Great job!
Nice build! I'd love to come across this kit again in my area. I'm a huge 4th-gen f-body fan and I think it'd be nice to have a future build. I like your choice in color, too.
