  1. Got the paint job finished and did a mach up of it with the frame and wheels painted. Now i just need to finish the rest of the interior, wire the motor, add police car lights, decals, and put everything together and I'll be finished. i changed my mind for the third time now i am going to make it have white doors.

  5. The kit and paint. kit $23, spray paint $3, bottle paints $4.50 the grand total is $30.50 i think i did pretty good.

  7. I just put the first part of the paint job on today when that paint drys im guna mask the doors off and paint the rest black kinda like the first picture wayne posted
  8. Well i finally painted and glued all the walls of my diorama together. I was going for brickwork on the outside but then changed my mind and did a stucco look and i think i did pretty good. Its still not done i have to get some tools and things inside and weather the shop floor and outside driveway.
  9. Im new to airbrushing and i was wondering to tamiya jar paints need to be pre thinned before shooting them through an airbrush? And if they do how would you thin them
  10. Is it alright if i jump in becuase ive been thinking about doing a 49 ford police car and then when i seen this thread and i thought it would be cool if i could join in
  11. So if i bought a spray can of paint for $5 when i add up all my expenses i would count the spray can as 3 dollars instead of 5?

  14. Thanks for all the ideas Junior they are a big help but I think I am going to go with the stucco affect because my dad had gave me that idea but I wasn't sure on how to do it but now that i know how that is what im going to do on mine. Thanks for the help! Its much appreciated.
  15. I am working on my diorama that I posted on here but Ive changed my mind and I am not going to do brickwork on it so is there any alternatives as to what I can do for the exterior? All suggestions are welcome.

  17. Started some more work on my diorama today. I downloaded a program called brickyard from www.modeltrainsoftware.com for 12 dollars which gives you 20 different printable brick designs and it also allows you to pick your exact scale or enter a custom one that you can use for dioramas so I picked the one I liked best and put a mach up of the bricks on the front of my diorama. The pictures below are just a mach up so the measurements and everything aren't exactly correct, but when I do put the brick paper on permanently I will post more pictures as I progress. As always all comments are welcome.
  18. Section 2 is my favorite. I love the cop car and the cop figure. Great Job!
