Perfection personified.

I must have been living on the moon because I just found this thread thanks to Tim H. (thx Tim).
This is pure art geniusness. My head hurts and my eyes are itching from studying all of these photos and I only went through this thread once, there will be many more, of that I am certain.
You are truly the metal master my friend and I can't wait to see this in person. When that will be, I don't know. Maybe the next DSC or maybe the last GSL.

Thanks for your comments Brad. I hope you start a new thread when you get your build going.

Ive seen the Fiat Topolino but never the '33 Willys. Nice work Ray!

This is such an epic build Ian. I have to also give kudos to your photography. Some of those pictures are poster worthy.

Glad to hear your surgery went well and you'll be back to this beauty of a build. I like the Maverick over the Mustang II bodies so I'm glad you stayed with the Maverick. Still sitting in the front row and my popcorn is getting low.

Magnificent all around Ian! Loving everything about this build.
-
Up to your usual high standards. Very nice Stephen.

This one has been calling my name recently. Just have one ahead of it on the bench list.
-
So glad to see this John. Another masterpiece in the making.

Stunning work Ian. Loving this build and all the brass work. I sense a 1/16th scale build or two in my future and this is very inspirational.

Glad you're back and have recuperated to the point where you are now. Sounds like quite the medical journey. Love your stuff Michael.

After seeing the Contest Issue of 2019 cover above, I know I'm missing that too. Wonder what else I'm missing, if anything. I'll have to look tonight when I get home.

A thing of beauty Tim.

This dragster is going to sparkle with this color Mike. Nicely done.

Well, I've started a new project. I know, those that know me are saying but you've got some many yet to complete. Ha, all in due time. Soe are waiting on decals, others (most of them) are waiting on motivation. A couple of years ago I bought a resin COE cab and finally found a few interesting photos to inspire me to build this. I don't know much about COEs and have no idea what I'm going to do about the interior. I also am lacking on knowledge of mid-centruy wrecker mechanics and mechanisms. I'l figure that out as I get closer to the rear.
This picture piqued my interest first although it a Pontiac (really cool) and then I started doing searches for the '50 Chevy style. There's quite of few for reference and bed/box styles but I really like the one in the Pontiac picture.
Jump on board for an interesting ride.

Nicely done Mike. I especially like the bending tool. Where did you find that?
-
Outstanding fit Ian. I'm sure this was a tedious task but you've mastered it.

Just found this lil' brother and is it ever so sweeet. I have long-distance plans for a 1/16th scale Jungle Vega and I just found my reference pictures thanks to you.
-
Mike - this is looking so mean already. I truly admire you guys who do all of this brass work and make it look easy. I know its not. I've done a few things in soldered brass so know what's involved. Kudos.

Hi Dave and welcome back to the bench. I have the SnakePit file but I can't attach a .pdf on this forum. I'll try to get it to you through a PM.
On edit: it won't attach there either. Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send it that way.

Your work on that body is stellar and I congratulate you on your perseverance and diligence. I also love your use of the Cragar SS rims through all of your changes, they have remained.
-
Top notch work there Mike. Always love seeing brass FED chassis made and yours are right up there with the best.
