Thanks to everyone who has responded positively to this thread. I am honoured by your support.
  2. Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
  3. Now that is a bold statement Daniel. I dare not put myself in that category. But I thank you(humbly) if you think so.
  4. There are many ways. Yours is another method.
  5. Thank you kindly. Modelling the mundane type of scenario is what I like to do. Not uncommon, just not seen so often.
  6. Thank you kindly.
  7. Thank you. The jeep is from AK-Interactive. The tyres came with thw jeep.
  8. Much appreciated. Thank you kindly.
  9. I'm personally liking this so far. Not the absolute best but for my capabilities, with figure painting, I like the results. Just need to clean up a little in some areas but the end results are looking positive. At least in my eyes. ------------------------------------
  10. Okay. Understood. Wasn't sure.
  11. Not sure what you mean by that, but okay. Good idea, but this particular type I have not found at a florist. Thank you. Glad you think so.
  12. There are many ways or methods to achieving a realistic looking bush. My method is just one way and to me, the most simplest solution. Whatever method works for you: 1. I used 'Grey Roof Lichen'(Latin name: Bryoria capillaris), which I collected from a fallen pine tree in my back yard. There's lots of this stuff. You can also use natural twine rope, which most modellers use. I did not have any on hand, so I decided to go out in nature and test out this material. This is what it looks like on the tree: 2. I cleaned off any unnecessary debris from off the Lichen, and tore off a small piece of this material. I picked the thinnest lichen clump I could fine. The thinner the strands the better it will look. At least for me. Then I took a brown Tamiya spray can(any brown color will do, depending on the look you want). I sprayed the lichen until I was satisfied. Left it to dry. 3. Then I took som Noch, Medium Green leaves. I had this on hand and was perfect for this job. Nice quality too. I sprinkled very sparingly for the 'sparse look', I was after. This is the final results placed on the vignette: Voila! Now how simple was that???? And absolutely realistic( in my eyes at least). But like I said, whatever suits you, go with that method. I thought this would save you time and money. Good Luck

Glad you approved. Thank you Dave. I cannot tell how many hrs as these models were build individually over several years, and all put together into one diorama, this year. The diorama took about a week. But if I had to give you a total estimated amount of hours, it would be translated into month.

Thank you. Just managed to be. But it could also mean, that it is in transfer on another European country... Who knows. Imagination is your best friend in the world of modeling.
  15. Thank you so much. Much appreciated David.
  16. Thank you very much, Roger.
  17. Thank you so very much for your very kind and inspirational words. Thanks a lot David. It means a lot.
  18. I upgraded this diorama, that I had made sometime ago. I removed a couple of trees and added extra under growth and static grass, and some bushes, as well as change out some scenery accessories. I also removed the passenger side door to be able to see inside a bit better.

  20. Thanks everyone.
  21. Glad you approved. Thank you so much.
  22. Appreciate the confidence. I think there are many tutorials on Youtube, are just as incredible. But a weathering video sounds cool though. :)
