What model or car inspired you the most?
Nick F40 replied to FloridaBoy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well, anything that Dale Watts builds is what inspires me because it shows what I like and how my brain works in a nutshell Also anything by Dale Beaver, Brenden, Chris LeClair, my dad (Randy), Bill Geary, Marcos Cruz, etc. -
ahahahahahaha wish I could have been there, to meet all of you guys and such, definetly will be coming next year!
-
AWESOME! See I absolutly love this, but you probably already knew that

citizen's arrest, citizen's arrest! Well, down in Ocean City Maryland over the weekend for this big VW/Audi show, some kids were being pulled over for the obvious but since Maryland ahs the awsome, no inspection and emmisions, so it's your problem, law, there were guys with open exhaust and such. Some were getting pulled over for europlates in the front, but I think it was for states that needed to have them in the front so I was fine. I was worried about my tinted tailights though

I think this may be the best video on rally. See, you can have your sequential, fast rally cars, but these are the real legends, the names and cars both. Pure rally about 1:30 on is my favorite, that's, just awsome!! This was when drifting was called powersliding or as they called it, normal driving Those drifters have nothing on these guys.

Nick F40 replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)

That is I don't know, cool concept but you think they could have made it look better? -

Yeah, I have been thinking of the same thing.... Do you really want a list of ones I want? -
Love following your builds. I love this car!

Wow, very nicely detailed and well done. My favorite engine tuner!

Surprised I haven't commented yet? This is very well built! This is making me want to build the 5 or more kits I have even more! I got a special one thats going to be posted real soon! The muffler was pretty much a chamber for the turbos but eahc of the outer pipes were the pipes coming from each header and the middle was the exhaust outlet pipe for the turbo, so it was essecntially straight through! Hey, it was a factory street legal race car

Pure Ferrari heaven
Nick F40 replied to Nick F40's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks, yeah I enjoyed it, I figured, those of you that commented would too. You just can't beat those racers of that era! If only people knew how much truth is in that, shame but true -
Now this is a TRUE Ferrari in my book. I'd take one of these over an Enzo or 430 anyday. You guys can have your new Scuderia's and Enzo's and 360's and even the F40, yes the F40 and all the sequential and flappy gearbox nonsense, this is how a Ferrari should look, sound, and the way it should be driven. Pure heaven when I was watching that, the noise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_aHZ8COCXI The BEST "show" on Speedvision/early SPEED. I loved this, as much as Top Gear, and that's saying somthing! No dumb graphics, horrendous music, or any other BS that's put into them now and it was actually about cars and motorsports, imagine that!

Your Very First Real Car
Nick F40 replied to FujimiLover's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yeah, i'd love to have that car! It's been with me my whole life. It's definetly not mint but it's no basket case! It's worth something. I just want to see it go to a good home, it saddens me a bit The whole car is pretty nicely done for all being at home and it sounds sweet! The engine needs a tune up though. I just love old sports cars! especially BMC ones -

Another sweet one :lol:I'd love to get ahold of one of them. Although, with where your from they are pretty normal. Renault's are good cars. I think I am mental for being a guy of my age and liking these types of cars. -
DANG This looks amazing! I still need to start mine!

Your Very First Real Car
Nick F40 replied to FujimiLover's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It rubs, it scrapes, it doesn't drag but it definetly vibrates like hell, even before it was lower! I make sure to look out for the speedbumps although I could just go full snot and jump them, touring car style and for driveways, ehhh, it's slow, I jsut scrape. -

Thanks I'm quite happy with how simple it was. I do have to raise the front a little though, it rubs a bit I love the avatar!!! Where'd you get it? You do them? -

Nick F40 replied to FujimiLover's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well, this is a cherry 1985 GTI! With 8 valves of full on VW NA power! This girl really gets up and goes though for less than 120BHP.......and 337,000 on the clock:lol: I want to do SO MUCH with the engine. I was thinking Weber 45's or a Megasquirt with ITB's and so on. I just recently put on Raceland coilovers. I need to adjust the front. It's Grassroots all the way, SCCA here I come! when I got it and recently -
I still remember this like crazy, I can't believe it's been 8 years already I was in 5th grade and walked in and wondered why nobody was talking and why the teache was about to cry, I was confused for about 30 minutes until we watched more and found out was was going on, it's just a weird feeling to still see it on tv...

I seen it, to jelly bean and boring. It has sort of Evora and Gallardo looks to it. The 458 Italia, now that's beauty, but even that, it just doesn't catch the Ferrari essence as say a 365 GTB or a GTO would give.

Nick F40 replied to FujimiLover's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Now that's what I'm talking about, if that ain't grassroots I don't know what is! That can compete in the 24 Hours of LeMons with no modifications! That's a hot little car, but WAY to much for that -
hey everyone, i have a question?
Nick F40 replied to B_rad88's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think it was Crispy (Chris Batson) that built one.... -
Nice! Definetly a tarmac rally version though
