  1. CHRIS!!! Man, missed ya. I haven't got to use the PM and threads for the Grand Am races and ALMS. We haven't gotten the "###### Lizards" battle we have, going fully. That is so cool! I wish I could have seen it in those years.
  2. Exactly, you said it. Airbags had definetly come a long way, they are refined now.
  3. ahhh yeah I forgot about that one. That is surely sweet looking, but definetly not what Citroen originally put in it. It was funny when Steve? in American Graffiti drove that, he said when they were filming, he actually missed a shift.
  4. Yup, I agree 100%, not too many people really understand what this is about, only true enthusiasts will only know!
  5. You're getting into it exactly like my dad. It's nice to see an enthusiasts build. I'll be watching this. I still love seeing the 1:1
  6. No....but I love that show, my favorite show on Speed. Love it! I wish it was longer.
  7. I like the custom touches, very well done.
  8. Bob, you know I always love your 24 hour LeMans build special. I wish I lived closer Brendan, thanks for that, I was just wondering. The MC12 is the whale. Well Aston (Prodrive) and Lola seem to be good partners. Pescarolo always has good stuff, that man can build, it doesn't surprise me that their faster than the factory efforts. It's great, I love it. Actually the GT class in LeMans has more competition and production based cars. I love the GT classes. Now for the life of my, I saw somehwhere, not sure if it was on the internet, Speed, magazine or what but Speed is going to have this new programming and that there goign to bring back more WRC coverage and maybe IRC......I wish I knew where I saw that!
  9. This year looks to be an especially good race with Audi, Peugeot, Oreca, and Aston Martin all aiming for the P1 top spot. I hope Aston takes it, that car looks stunning, V12, Gluf livery, looks like the 917 in the front, need I say more? I'm glad there's more competition in the P1 class, kind of brings back the good ol Group C days, I said KIND OF! This year is going to have the best sounds in racing. Ferrari looks set to take GT2 with 10 entries (Including Patrick Dempsey driving the no. 81 car). My Ferrari boys are hopefully going to get it and win over the RSRs. I vote on the all American Ferrari team! Corvette will most likely dominate GT1 considering there's only one DBR9 and and Murcielago, what happened to the S7R's and MC12's? and it's nice to see more Americans competing in a EUROPEAN event, we haven't got them in a while, except for maybe MotoGP and Superbikes. Complete team entry list: http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/pages/engages_gb.html Speed will be covering the race at the following times starting on the morning of June 13th (eastern standard times) 8AM-12PM, Saturday the 13th 4:30PM-10PM, Saturday the 13th 12AM-9AM, Sunday the 14th Online coverage will be available at: http://www.justin.tv/ http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/motorsport/le-mans/ http://rlm08.0157.org/index.php
  10. I KNOW THIS I KNOW THIS!!! Brings back videos in my head of the M1 ProCar Cup my lips are shut
  11. I love these Celicas! I hate big wheels but I actually like these on here, I like the style of wheel.
  12. I LOVE these. I'd make sure I have seals and plenty of oil if I own a real one but i'd love to have one. I like all that's on this page, I especially would go with the retro schemes.
  13. That's pretty much what they are, some are kind of cool, but some are just WEIRD. You definetly got the look with this one.
  14. ahhh SARD, performance products company. I'll try my gold graphics and just paint the spoiler black.
  15. Ding ding!! Dale Watt's LMP '31, that's my kind of Pro Touring.
  16. I'm not even going to say or describe it, the title says it all, ENJOY!
  17. I'll be glad to take them off your hands Actually is Alain de Cadenet, but he was probably one of the best hosts and yeah that ACTUALY knows his stuff and what he's talking about.
  18. Dave, your with me there. Oh yeah, Victory by Design was one of my favorite shows. I had that DTM 199x with "Kickstart my Heart" but the video was taken off of Youtube. Oh yes, at the Ring, great footage. The Alfa was a sweet car, won some and was a statement and sounded amazing, got to love ITBs' The BTCC is awsome, that is some real racing, they weren't sissys
  19. Speed lost it's goods when it lost it's vision I agree with you Speedvision was the best. I remember still watching some of them on there. I'm same, Grand Am is also good for production based and such, probably the best sports car racing in the new era. here you go! I couldn't find some good 90's DTM videos without some music but I found some mental BTCC videos this one is one of my favs GREAT sound and great commentary http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-R665bquMg here's a good one
  20. Yup, same here, and not since IMSA was racing, you can tell with ALMS, Grand Am, USTCC, and so on but how many people know about that
  21. The one thing is, she's iconic. See most young ones don't know what good music actually is or what real lyrics should sound right, that's why i'm different!
  22. and this shows why http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj0kpfyCvNk...feature=related when people ask what kind and type of race car driver I want to be, I won't say like the new ones, I'll say like these guys, these are the ones I look up to and I want to race these types of cars.
  23. Ohhhh yes, Lotus and BRM, oh yeah, probably one of the greatest combos. I think i'd pick that over a Ferrari F1 V12 or the Cosworth V8 maybe. I posted a BRM video in my first post, pretty much the same.
  24. Now SHE could sing, she had a voice to her!
  25. arrgh, seeing those never gets old, still love that B engine. I still got to build my Mercury, or something, I was thinking maybe a flat 12
