  1. First off, love the avatar and it's cool that your in PA and around my area and your first car is one of my favorites, I love the CRX's, they are the perfect racer and such a fast great handling little car. Perfect for autocrosses and rallies. I know a few people that could vouch for that! It honestly looks real in the pictures. I agree with my dad. You should come to the sitdown this Saturday at Mainline, a great time with local clubs and my dad and I will be there, so it will be cool to meet you, or do you know all about this already?
  2. Oh yeah, i'm with this guy
  3. I'm just kidding with you, the yellow/black will look nice, that race car was always a neat one, although that blue one.....
  4. oh yes, they are sweet in person, especially that F1GT
  5. Yes, this is cool, I like the whole look, very well done and this is where the engine should be. Why didn't you build this thing and show VW in 98? Yeah I wish it was too, people do it in 1:1, not many but there are some kits I think. Some people put Audi and Porsche engines in also, like the older ones. I heard of that to, but I don't think so either although MINI is wanting to build that 4X4 one!
  6. Oh yes this is nice, of course right? and Scott's one of my racing idols so this is nice. You never seen this model or any IMSA models? or IMSA at all? Please let it not be the last one?!
  7. ehhhh it's OK I guess......
  8. wow I love this car Go with metallic blue!!
  9. Wow, you did a bangup job. I always wanted to build one of these kits. Can't go wrong with a racing Ferrari, especially one driven by Schumacher
  10. YES!!!!!!!! This is jsut too cool, I can't wait to show my 49 Merc. I need to build a GTP Group C car for more ideas so I'm building the Sauber C9. I would LOVE to see this at Road America or wherever, this is just sick, they need to have racecars like this, I would race one. I know your surprised i'm not the first or second to comment.
  11. You? like Ferrari's? WHAT???? I like this one, I still want to build one.
  12. I like your style, NO it's not just because you build Ferrari's......... and there's nothing wrong with that.
  13. That's the version I want to do, it just looks so dang cool! I would love to do one in 1:1.
  14. I love it You build very clean. Croatia? wow that's cool, what is it like there?
  15. You got to love a rod with the 240Z engine in it, and with Webers that thing ought to run!

    JACCS Accord

This looks sweet, you know I love it! I like the sleeper look of the naked version. You coming to the Sit Down right? ohhhh yes
  17. Yup, I saw that pciture, very inrteresting indeed, it's a shame they aren't going the full season. I'm just glad there's 2 Pug's competing at Sebring.
  18. Some people use that instead of rig, like "tow pig", it just sounds kind of dirty, wild, funny, like a piggie!
  19. I love Deal's work, icredible an creative and imaginative. Respect him as an artist, writer, and a racer. I liked his article in Grassroots, I forget the year, I think 2004.... He still holds and will forever hold the record for the original Baja 1000 Route in the Baja Bug he designed.
  20. Well, I just watched the best show on Speed, Wind Tunnel, and he had some info on the Formula One team and Danica Patrick might be one of the drivers, not quite sure of the drivers at this point but have considerations. They have a 62 million dollar budget to work with, so it would be interesting, they have an announcment coming I think Thursday on Speed announcing this thing, so it's sounds like thier serious about it and going to go throught with it, I wonder what Ecclestone thinks about this or Max for that matter. did you know that Bernie's net worth was 2.4 billion pounds last year? Donnington ought to be good.......... No North American races, so we start a team!! Wiki is all ahead The project entitled USF1 confirmed that they would have a formal launch of the team's aspirations on 24th February 2009 with the plans to be broadcast on the American channel SPEED with the rumor of US team and states "very likely to have United Stateas Grand Prix" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Formula_One_season http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Formula_One_season http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Formula_One_season
  21. That very much helps, as know I got a full understanding. I was just wondering about them becasue I love the body so much with the vents and was wondering why they had these covers on, the aluminum tape rectangles, in the kit. I'm still building the LeMans version but going to have open vents. Thanks Brendan and Chris.
  22. Ohhhh, so since this car didn't really run more than LeMans, the covers were the only one saw, because of the low downforce of LeMans. I always had a general idea of fender louvers and effects with cooling/air direction and downforce but never really knew fully.
  23. Yes I'm talking about the louvers over the front wheels and the cover that's supposed to go over that. So they used them to add downforce and take away? how'd they do that?
  24. I have a question, I am building this kit and was wondering about the front wheel well, the kit has the openings, but of course, the box art, instructions, build up, internet buildups and pictures, have the covering. I have seen a couple cars, http://leslie.co.nz/models/images/gallery/C9/c9m_5.jpg http://www.pit-stop-distribution.co.uk/ima...ars/SICA07a.jpg this is HPI's 1/43 replica of the "unpainted" car http://www.hpi.lt/shop/images/993.jpg that have open slots, now these are on the earlier versions of these cars so did they go to the coverings later, as with the '89 24 hour winner? But what is the point of this, better aero? did it help with the making it faster then the rest? I always thought vents were for cooling and letting hot air escape, so this kind of seems weird to cover, anyone have full info? I like the BBS wheels on the earlier cars. The Tamiya kit has nice aluminum stickers but to slightly bend them and apply they would just come off and wouldn't stick right and I'd have to make them out of styrene but I like the look of the vents so I'm doing the vents, I was just wondering about them though. Any input is welcome and appreciated.
  25. Probably my favorite Pigit model, the rally version is just sweet looking, kind of BMWish. I like the street look. I still want to get one of these kits, like the hatch and do a street version. Very well, done. I'm a sucker for these things.
