  1. Thanks for the praise, I'm really glad you like my "cat". I really have to apologize for the poor quality of the pics, if you'd like to see some more, please visit Detailed-Models.de
  2. That's the last post this evening, I promise Currently sitting on my workbench ist a beautiful 'Vette, this time not a scratchbuilt one like my Cheetah and Cobra kits. I used Revell's C3 model and took it a little back in time, when those chrome bumpers were still in vogue. Aside from the front, the complete rear deck and bumper have been remodeled too. All the Revell chassis parts still fit. But I'm not going to use the original wheels, not with those sexy fender flares! Can't wait to paint that one, but I have to tell all you Vette fans out there: It won't be red. Maybe just a little, though ;] More pics sometime soon!
  3. Just behind the Cheetah comes the Cobra! Special greetings to the guys of TDR, can't wait to see your "Beast" all up and running! My Snake is just a curbside model again, and like the Cheetah carved from rigid foam by hand, with rapid prototyping detail parts. I have to admit that in real life, I'd buy the Cobra rather than the Cheetah, because I don't think that I have what it takes to tame this cat... In my opinion, a Cheetah would kick a Cobra's ass, but she wouldn't make it through the bend that has to come sometime after the straight Well, have a look at the snake, with those hypnotizing body lines... All right, now we're cooking with gas! The camera's still smoking, and now you've got the pics this forum deserves
  4. Greetings to all you big scale modelers! I'm new to this forum, and generally not the forum type, but since there's a whole bunch of one-eighth fans around here, I wanted to share my work with you. The first car I did in 1/8 was the fabulous Cheetah by Bill Thomas and Don Edmunds. The model is curbside (no engine or chassis), with the body carved from rigid foam and the details mostly made with rapid prototyping. She had the honor of being the first because to me, this car is sex on wheels. So, have a look... Man, this view is just great
