  1. Those look great. 3/4 of an inch was what I kinda had in my head. Just really wanted to ask first. Thanks.
  2. Cool. Thanks Wayne. Well I have all the Dirt Modeler front and rear bracket kits. I am debating on what engine to run. Nitrous or Blown. Will probably be a Ross Gibson engine. What do you guys suggest. I like both setups. I am trying to get everything ordered, really just trying to decide on everything. Thanks for the help everyone.
  3. Thanks Brett. The width is my main concern. I wasn't sure how to come up with that, but I see what your saying. I appreciate your help.
  4. I have the body. Just really wanting to get some type of measurements to go by so I can hopefully get started soon. Thanks.
  5. Hey guys, just have a few questions B4 I start this project. I know that most will have to be scratchbuilt. So I guess my first question is, how do I know how wide to space my frame rails when I start building the chassis. This will be my first pro mod build and everyone else that has one in the works on here has me itching to try one. So I hope there will be a few people to help. Thanks.
  6. I'll be there. Wanted to have a couple of my builds done by then but I think I am running out of time. Still going though. I am taking my son for his 9th Bday. He is really excited. Maybe I can talk to Tim K. or Tommy May and see if they may be able to give him a lil something special being this is his first ever model car show. I think he will really enjoy it.
  7. Yes they are. They are a great group of very very talented guys. I love seeing there work.

  9. It looks like the Ridler award winner from a couple years ago. It was build by Johnson's Hot Rod Shop in AL. Keep up the good work.
  10. Well like I say people have their own opinions. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. The cars really works of art. If you saw them in person you would be amazed by the detail and fit and finish of these cars. Whether you like the looks or not.
  11. Yes. The engine is completely one piece. It is pointless and can't be driven but it doesn't up the wow factor. I would love to own a show car.
  12. Like I said, I knew there were people who would like them but thats with anything. Everyone has their own opinion. Thanks for looking though.
  13. Well I messed up one body already and really didn't won't to mess up another. I just thought I could find someone who could do it. I am not planning on showing or anything. I am just wanting to add it to my collection of ISCA replicas I am in the process of building. This one is the wildest by far. There is another that I am working on that is pretty wild but not like this. A lot of people don't like these older show cars but its what I grew up around. Here is a pic of the other car I am working on. I close friend of my dads originally built and showed it back in the 80s. Then he sold it and it has been just passed around over the years. I hope yall like. Thanks for the help by the way.
  14. Would anyone here be interested in modifying a body. I have the kit but just don't believe I can pull off the replica I want to build. Is there anyone that would like to help me out. I can pay.
