  1. Thanks guys going to try thr resin thing, have one front fender cut off car, never tried maing a part might be fun!!! Any specific kit or just a fender repair kit, can I get the kit at any auto parts (never really noticed them). One more question any thing has to be done differently as far as paint prep or typical primer/sanding?
  2. Hi, i'm sure its been covered before but I can't find it- I would like to take the fender flares from(82 body style) Revell motorworks Mustang Turbo cobra ( want to build a copy of a 1:1 Mercury Capri I had) and add them onto revells 93 mustang cobra any ideas? The car itself is too narrow to swap aparts from one car to another - I had an 86 Capri (love the fender flares) that I upgraded to a 93 Mustang GT I changed everything inside and out , I miss the car and would like to make one
  3. Here in Meriden Connecticut I paid $3.85 a galon for regular today ,was $3.74 yesterday told in Bklyn NY already over $4.00 a galon
  4. Hi folks, looking for a set of 1/24th scale wheels I have asked this in the past but it's been a looong time and lots of products have come out since then . I would like to know if anyone knows where I can find a set of American Racing Shelby Razor Wheels ,they have to be good quality and can be Resin as long as they are detailed. This is for a project that I have been working on for a while , had to table it due to issues with my hand and now after surgery while recovering I want to gather stuff to begin my project again an 06 Mustang Shelby GT-H anniversary Edition Convertible (see my sig.). See the link below for pics of Wheels http://asp.americanracing.com/dealerline/b.../mega/m198S.jpg Thanks, Harry
  5. Great product, did you use their paints (brushing it on) for the stripe or did you spray the stripe on on?
  6. Honestly IMO(of course who am I to say I'm not doing the hard work) I think do the suspension as well let me know if you need anything I have a 00 GT and am always poking around the web for stuff would get you pics but I suck at taking pics man I'm going to have to put in overtime to buy all these kits
  7. Iam def. glad to hear that the car is going to be in production soon -can't wait any chance a 99-04 mustang GT is in the workds as well
  8. There were turbo monte carlos but don't think they were made for long . I had a 1980 Turbo Monte carlo had same exact engine as the Gran Nationals (part numbers where the same ,Had to replace a seal once for the turbo)I also new someone that had a 81 Turbo Monte .
  9. Amazing wish I had the scratch buidling skill
  10. As I crawl through all the non-sense- Darin I think the car is looking really good most people may be having a hard time looking at the red/white and that may be throwing some off , I on the other hand had a red car with some white parts that I had put on the car when I upgraded it(86-93) which may help me see through the color differences .....Of course there will be some things that are slightly off right now since it's NOT Finished , which means Darin still has work to do Bottom line I WILL BUY ONE when it comes out!!! and Iam on my 3rd 1:1 Mustang (86 upgraded to 93 hatchback GT,89 Convertible LX,2000 Mustang GT) Darin thanks for all your hard work Can't wait unti lI can buy this one!!!! Just hope supply can keep up with demand- Don reserve a couple for me
  11. If the look your going for is that of the black project car I too would lose the wing - without it the car looks more sleek but it doesn't look bad with the wing anyway looks like its going to be a really sharp car so hey go with what you feel- if you like the wing keep it......
  12. Hi, been a while since I have been here- any update pics (of course not trying to rush)
  13. Sounds cool but, I'm going to wait for Darin and Don to finish theirs I like that Darin says he measured everything out to make sure it is accurate and that pic you show have the wrong tail lights in it . I want to make an accurate version of the car and I know that Don will send out the parts you order unlike what I hear about AF/X N Scale
  14. Great news that the LX is coming I can't wait - I have Don's number on speed dial I'll hold my finger on the phone ready to dial to place my order
  15. Great work so far , looks amazing- Looks like your using the 93 cobra body but , is the LX wing scratch made?
  16. I see on other boards there seems to be a high demand for a 87-93 Mustang LX Coupe and Hatchback- anyone out there working on one? I knowthey would sell very well (I would buy a few)
  17. Yup thats the one although I know there was a grey one around too, BTW where did you get the grill from- thats kinda the grill I need........
  18. Great Job - soooo your the one who made the cervinis mustang (been looking for that body kit I thought it was available in resin) Do you still have pics of the cervini mustang you made Iam in the process of making the 07 Shelby GT-H Convert.- Body/Hood is almost ready for paint , I have custom made the front and added PSF hobbies side scoops & Hertz hoodJust have to order parts for Aluminum Grill inserts(been slow cause I haven't been able to work on it)
  19. thnks for the response I will try them out
  20. I REALLY Like it!!!!!!!!! Great Job not to crazy about the 1:1 but hey may grow on me like the model has
  21. looks great I saw 1:1 550 today odly enough at a hyundai(think I spelled that right )dealership here in Meriden CT awsome looking car , you did justice to the real one I really like the yellow you used better.....Great job!!!!! BTW where do you get your kits from been having a hard time finding local hobby shop that has a good variety
  22. Great Job Carlos - Would like to see more pictures of this one!!!!! where did you get that cold air kit?
  23. Sorry wasn't so clear I just wanted to know if wheels that belong on a 1:18th scale car would fit on a 1:25 or 1:24 scale car..... I think the wheel I looked at is an 18 in. wheel ( in 1:18th scale of course) So if I understand you right then the wheel would be waaaay to big for a 1:25 scale car because bigest I would go would be a 23" like Mr. Model wheels or pegasus wheels(not into the ridiculusly big wheels) This the set of wheels I wanted but doesnt say what diameter they are http://gmpdiecast.com/products/zoom.cfm?Pr...Number=G1800136
  24. Hi, have a kinda dumb question I have never dealt with anything other than 1:24-1:25 scale so I was wondering what would the biggest scale of wheels that can fit on a 1:24-1:25 scale vehicle : I am Asking because I saw a very detailed set of wheels (actually quite a few) for 1:18th vehicles but I don't know if they would work on....... thanks
  25. I also think the car looks great and like the 2nd paint job much better
