Hi Romell and Chris, Thanks for all the info. I will get a few orders together on the aftermarket parts. I have been watching both your builds and if you guys don't care I would like to use some of your ideas. Dave sent me some pics so that will help. This is a great forum with lots of good people. Romell, I hope you have healed from your fall man that sounded bad. I myself have to take my modeling day by day due to never knowing how bad I will be hurting when I get going. MS really bites and plays with whole body and mind. Thanks again guys for all your help and please keep sending me info. Paul

I got them printed Dave. Thanks so much. Paul

Hi Dave that would be great if you could post some for me.
-
I have been trying to find some good photo's of the chassis and engine on this car with no luck, If anyone can help that would be great. Hi Brad, I will get some pics loaded shortly. Building this size car has been different but fun.
-
Well I was able to get most of the chassis straight but what a mess it was.
-
Hi Jeff, I have dechromed the engine and I am trying to put the lips on the rear fenders and so far not good. I will post some photo's later this week. Thanks Richard for the info on the primer.

Does anyone know if I need to use Primer with Model Master Metalizer Spray Paint. Thanks for any info.
-
That is sharp Paul. Was it the Revellution kit?
-
The frame is major warped. Any suggestions?
-
Iv'e got the Duster body, Revellution. Do you have any modern updates on that car. I was looking at the Vega Army F/C on here and there should be plenty of detail that I can do with my F/C kit. I'm going to give it a try and any photo's or ref. material will help. Do you think that I should strip the chrome?
-
I just started on it. I'm looking thru all the parts now. Should I dechrome the engine parts? I also looked at the 1/16 Vega F/C and that thing is looking sweet. I would love opinions and help with this and best place to buy parts for the motor. Thanks guys

Hi guys, I finally got the chrome off the engine. I used drano and man did it work fast. I bought some metalizer lacquer by MM and do I need to use a primer 1st and if so what kind. Thanks

I see what you mean Greg about time and work on the bigger cars. I can't wait to see more updates. This group has some of the best builders that I have ever seen.
-
Hi Greg, Thanks for your words. I have had the model since the 90's but I will figure out what to do with it. I strted getting really sick about 2001 and of course the illness has progressed. I have well over 200 kits and I just don't want to give up as it is so easy to do at times. I'm just glad that I met this group and all the wonderful people.

Hi Dave, I didn't take it in a bad way I just figured you guys know what you are talking about so I will listen. Looking at some of the prices for parts I can see where it can get expensive. I will stick to the 24th and 25th scale for now. I am dealing with MS and a few other ailments so I spend time drulling at all you guys work, lol. But I really do thank you for all your help. I will keep looking on here at all the great models being built and go back to my 55 Chevy build. Later
-
Thanks guys for all the info. I will put the kit away and stick to the 1/24 scale. I did see Terrys 1/16 bodies and they are sharp. You guys keep up the good work on your models.
-
Hi guys, I am concidering turning this kit into a Pro Mod. I have never built a kit this large and because of my handicap it might be a good size for me. Tell me what you think. I can open the hood and trunk and after seeing all the great stuff in this forum I bet I could get some help on where to get parts, etc. Thanks guys and talk to me.

63 chevy 2 nova outlaw prostreet updates 10/31/14

Very nice Tyrone. I can't wait to see more. -
Thanks or the welcome. I think that I will try putting the lip on the rear fender. What is the best way to strip chrome? I thought that drano might. Oldschool, you are correct. The car was a 67 Camaro, black with a tunnel ram, big tires rear and skinny front. Fast and wild.
-
That will be sweet.
-
How could I make the lip around the rear fender or should I just leave it.
-
Thanks guys.
