  10. Sorry for late responde, i am back from our contest. Thank you very much for all kind of comments!!! I try, to answer the questions... Bill: the time for the complete build was from December 11 till May 2012. The built from the undercarriage incl. wiring engine was one week, the work on the body including paintjob and BMF was about six weeks. Most of the time, i had no idea, how to build the sidepanels to the 4-door-interieur. Also most of the time i spended to make the BMF-job. I was not relaxed enough to make it as good as i wanted. Started two times, removed the foil two times. "Good work needs time" - thats the time, when i took my hands on other kits and this one lay on the workbench till i had the right idea. Greg: the colors are a "grab into a shelf" in a parts store. i dont know if it helps, when i write down the numbers from the paintmanufacturer named "Multona". I dont know, how the colors are named and on wich real car they are painted A.Darbo: to make a woody? Cool idea! Love it. Perhaps.... Gabriel, Brian: i thought abou the 1959 Shasta Airflite. But i think, i will try an airstream - it would look better to the back of the wagon. James: here are two links to the contest with some pictures. enjoy (perhaps, take a translator) Pictures from Dominik and Kai. Once again: Thank you for kind comments! Dont be shy for questions - i'll to my best
  11. Thank you Harry, thank you Ron
  12. ... Thats it - i like the fresh colors and the overall look. Thank you for attention. If you think about this body, you can take him. It fied perfect (i wrote, i knew) and working with it was very easy.
  13. Last pictures from the finished hudson: ...
  14. Now, here is the result. Have fun with the first pictures: Next, to give him the right theme, i made a surfboard: To transport it, he became a roofrack and a hitch for an upcoming trailer (futurebuild).
  15. Hi everybody, today i want to present you one of my "hot" finished work for our contest of my german forum this weekend. If you ask: 4-Door-Station?!? Thats right! I bought in November last year a stationwagonbody at ebay.com. I think, the caster is Jimmy Flintstone. Not sure, please correct, if i am wrong: For the first fitting, i build the base with engine... ...and took a look on it: It fixed P E R F E C T ! Great job to the caster! The only thing i didn't like was the pillars, so i cut them out, build some new, scribbed the door lines new to get a 4-Door Stationwagon: It looks better to me. Next step, after the whole work on the body was done, i made new sidepanels for the interieur,... ...some work on the seats, mounted them and completed it: An overallview, fixed with tape: That was the work of four month. Similar to another project i finished this week. Stay tuned for the result.
  16. Interesting colors. good job with all the trim. Well done! One thing, you perhaps can make on your next builds: I take clear coat to fix the clear parts like head- or taillights. So, you dont have "white" lenses like the right ones, that will come from the evaporation of the glue. I had the same problem on my older builds - white headlights. Since i take clearcoat, this problem is gone
  17. Like those old racers. You made a god job - very clean build. Congrats!
  18. Oh your beetle looks very nice. Like it - the 7th picture is my favorite. Gives me smile, when i look at it
  19. Very nice!
  20. oh man....what are you (Moebius) doing with us modellers? any kit you're sharing and selling (of course) is a must have. How can i get my shelf empty, if "every month" another kit from you coming up? I was happy to have more space in my shelf, but now i know, that these spaces will be filled with your new kits. Oh man...i like it.
  21. wow! I am impressed! i have the mpc-Kit in my shelf to build him. You made a great job!!! Can't believe, that it is 1/25 scale, or isn't it? I think so...didn't read your wip, but i will do! That pacecar looks fabulous. Again: WOW!
  22. Coooool Stang! Also the wheels are my personal eyecatcher! Well done.
  23. Yes, let it, like it is - in my few a beauty. New engine "i will accept" and it will work with the outside. clean and beautuful.
  24. Hi Phil, i like the decals and seats/dash also - that looks cool. Your colorchoice is well done - like the Cehvelle! If you are washing the grill , perhaps you can give the turnlights in front and the backlights some clear orange/red? Than you have more real look of the model included the black grill. At last a licenseplate and up on the road with it!
  25. Your T-Bird i wrote in his thread is awesome and i like it. The surfboard is the "last needed detail" for it! That rocks!
