  1. If it were my snap on tools? He'd pe out on his hands and knees with a spoon digging through said snow bank to fund them. After that tool box would be under lock and key.
  2. I know. I build engines for a living... this was an l 48 out if our camaro . Which tbe majority were 4 bolts. Oh well. Like I said before, my engine will be 400 based anyways.
  3. 2 bolt mains.... Thumbs down!
  4. No idea yet. Maybe our 73 camaro , might find a third gen camaro or first gen s 10 to toss it in.
  5. Gorgeous paint buddy.
  6. With alum heads and a few can and cooling system tricks we know it'll run on supreme just fine. And rev like a son of a gun.
  7. Yep. The 632 is gonna be a blower motor. Either a 14-71 or a pair of pro charger f1's . Pump gas engine. My SBC is gonna be a destroked 400. 377 cubes full hyd roller retrofit forged everything and .560 lift can with around 10.5 or 11:1
  8. That's great. Rhs heads go on a lot of the engines we build and you're right great value for money. Glad you sprung for the CNC job. Porting with a die grinder unless you really know what her doing it often does more harm than good. How many cubes you running? Were getting ready to do a big m based 632 here soon.
  9. Niiiiice. Think in gonna run rhs's on my SBC. Which ones you get? CNC port or the tried and true die grinder method?
  10. I got the heads pulled and the rods and pistons out of my 350. And I discovered it only has 2 bolt mains Oh well I'll be buying the 4 bolt 400 block at work...
  11. Also scored 6 forged eagle h beams for 50 bucks! And a set of retro fit hyd. Roller lifters for 300. Score!
  12. Pending a clean mag check of my 350, a factory 4 bolt main 400 block....... for 100$
  13. Yeah... the main/poteet speed demon springs to mind.... wonder if 4400 HP is good enough to break the sound barrier...
  14. Want to see it in Jose Gonzalez' already record setting pro mod..
  15. Yeah... I'd give just about anything to hear a 637 at 10 grand breathing through 30 or 40 psi...
  16. This is a pro mod/ pro street engine. Though it has water jackets so it could be in a street car. And rumor has it a hot rod drag weeker's already bought one... That being said the type if racing wasn't really my point, my point was what a engineering marvel this thing is. An engine that big revving that high? Incredible.
  17. No.mike Moran. Aka first pro streeter in the 5 s.
  18. cliff notes: 637 CI, hemi headed, Capable of over 900 cubic inches, In 785 inch trim itll buzz to 10k rpm. Yeah TEN THOUSAND RPM. Block, heads, intake, valve covers alll machined from billet aluminum. Turbo (s). oh, and it makes four thousand four hundred horsepower on alcohol. http://bangshift.com/blog/pri-2012-mike-morans-new-4400hp-billet-aluminum-hemi-nearing-top-fuel-hp-with-alky-and-turbos.html There are lots of things i would do with this engine, some involve racing, most require a moment alone.
  19. got the pulleys for the hemi at the shop from BDS, assembly starts soon.. also, the bearings for my engine as well
  20. 350, for now. seriously considering going the 421 stroker route though.
