I just got the kit from Hobby Lobby. Price was cheaper than all the car/truck kit's . After using a 40% off coupon I paid $14.99 for it.
I haven't opened the kit yet ,but it show's that it comes with complete with all the fifth wheel parts as well! So you could make the snow plow/dump truck or a medium duty with the fifth wheel.

Talk about a Error filled movie Watch Black Dog with Patrick Swayze, Randy Travis, and Meat Loaf. From contact damage before making contact, A white/Volovo/ GMC that keeps repairing it's self, Rockets seen used to blow up said White/Volvo/GMC. Plus handing the main actor a letter that he was seen just holding seconds before, And many More! Note that a roll bar is visible on the red rig as well..

This Is from a episode of T.J.Hooker. The International truck that was used before the "crash" scene was a 4070 A The truck in the picture was disguised as a 4070 a but is actually a Transtar II (See head light pans which are square, and the door handle is at the bottom of the door. The second photo is clear to see the round headlight pans, and the door handle under the door window.
In the episode of the Dukes of Hazzard where Boss Hogg races Uncle Jessie , Bo ,Luke, Daisy and Cooter help Uncle Jessie defeat Boss Hogg ( Boss had Roscoe put Moonshine in Jessie' s trunk for the race. It is not only seen but heard when in this episode Luke opens the passenger door on the General get's in and shut's the door (doors were supposed to be welded shut on this one).

The USS Hornet is just over 3 miles under the ocean. If you look closer you will see the shadow of the chain running across the rear wheel. It's not a fake and live video was shown on ABC news. Video can be watched on You Tube of the actual discovery of the USS Hornet....

I have been working on this one for the last few week's, and really wasn't impressed that it had a "Lima" 2.3 liter 4 banger. Fact is I live just 25 miles west of Lima Ohio were that 2.3 was made! I decided to do an engine swap from a AMT 90's Thunderbird race car kit. So that is the engine that is now in the '87 T-Bird. I painted the body withe three coats of Testors Mythical Maroon, and the Interior Rustolium granite satin gray.

O.K. I just finished my second '67 Chevrolet Impala four door! this one is Krylon short cuts red with a Mythical Maroon interior. I bought the body and interior set off ebay, and used a spare '67 Impala ss Frame, engine, suspension, tires & wheel's for this one. So let's see if anyone else has got one finished!!

Some years ago I had the amt 55 chevy sedan. The body as I recall was very nice but the chassis and Interior were a PITA as they didn't fit each other very well, I had the same issue with the 55 Nomad kit. it's either the chassis or the interior that isn't right as the Transmission tunnel either is to big on the chassis or to small in the interior to fit over the chassis correctly, The Revell copy would supply a better detailed interior/engine and chassis.

When are you starting on the 55?
First I would have to see if the amt '55 sedan body would work with the revell '55 chevy kit as I would want to have all three cars to be sedan's....

Sadly my Grandpa passed away in May 1975. My dad ended up with the pickup which he kept a few years then sold it. It really was the Only FORD pickup I ever liked so Here is my Late Grandpa's '65 Ford F-100 (pre damage copy) the real pickup had right rear quarter panel damage . My grandpa said that it was damage when he was backing a trailer..

How do you like the Krylon Short Cuts clear? I've been curious about it.
I like the short cuts clear a lot, been using it for about 6 years or so. Seem's to play nice with testors paint's as well as Dupli color paints. Most of the time I use Short cuts gloss white as a base coat under the Dupli color paint's, and never had a bad reaction to doing that pain't wise..
And for all those who left so many kind remark's I thank you all!!

It is the Supernatural kit, though, right
Yes it is the Super Natural kit, Just I wanted a factory stock copy, Plan on getting at least two more of them! One to make a stock non SS two door, and One to make as a Promo "Curbside" out of.

Bought from Mikes Decals, and arrived days after ordered. It is painted with Dupli color GM paint, and Krylon short cut's clear coat. The steel wheel's are from a revell '56 Chevy Del Ray kit, and the Tires came from an amt kit. The dog dish hub caps are from a Revell '57 Chevy 150. Otherwise box stock build..

All three are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
I know. Plans are: Bonneville, body to remain the way it came. Interior will be blue. The Cadillac repaint the same color as it was, and just clean the interior. The Buick will also be a total repaint body wise, Close to the color that it came to me in. All three will be restored, and placed in my collection..
Anybody that preordered the LNT8000 Snowplow receive it yet

Yes but the hard part will be getting a International F-2575 Kit to make the plow/dump truck. Odot Here in Ohio has used International's since the 1980's!
