This is an older build and I remember that it posed problems for me in getting the front glass in place for some reason or another. Other than that it was an ok build. Its painted in Dupli Color with Bare Metal foil trim and some wheels from a donk Monte Carlo kit (I think). Thanks!

How would you like to get towed by the guy who drives this? Its built totally from the scrap parts box and weathered with acrylics and pastel chalks. Thanks!

I like the graphics on both bodies....Nice job!

I'm amazed at all your builds John....Your attention to detail is second to none! I always enjoy seeing your work.

I'll be getting some soon...Keep up your great work!

Are those decals from the new Slixx goodie sheets Tyrone?

Impressive and I love the subtle weathering...Great job!

I had all thoise kits as a kid (wish I still did) and it was always fun building them. My fav was the Red Baron. Great job on yours!

Thanks for the clarification Wayne. The Rob Vandergriff car was the forerunner to todays modern Pro Mod cars. It was super innovative and ahead of its time in the 80's. I believe that there were three versions of the car and it had a Jerry Hass chassis and it was 7/8 scale. I saw it run a few times at Knoxville Dragway in Tennessee back in the day. Along with the Charles Carpenter '55 its still one of my favorite body styles for a drag car. And Niko, that black flamed '57 is wicked looking.

Yep, this is good...I like the noose idea!

No problem Chris, thanks to all you fellas for looking in!

Just awe... inspiring Darryl! I am afraid to even ask, but that trailer did you detail the inside as well?
Thanks to all you guys!! Bart, I didn't do any interior detail to the trailer. I decided it just wouldn't be able to be seen enough.

I'm not trying to hog the forum this week or show boat guys but I just joined and I'm excited to share some of my builds with you! This is a fav of mine and its an exploded view of a Pro Stock pit scene. This is generally what they look like between rounds at most drag races. Lots of scratchbuilt stuff .

The details are looking great as usual! Those beads are sweet aren't they?
-
That is going to be a vibrant paint scheme...Anxious to see more.

Darryl,
This is incredible! Nice attention to detail(s).
I love the garage too. The poster of the 'hot' girl is the perfect touch.
Thanks guys!! LOL...Much better than a Quaker State poster.

Those are both real standouts....I really like the Chevelle though! Nice job on both!

Thanks much guys! John, I do remember it (Little Red Wagon) and I'm so glad that you liked it and that you still have it!! Thanks again guys!!

I did this onw awhile back and I liked the way it turned out. Would it pass Tech? LOL..Highly unlikely but it would be one heck of a ride. Lots of detailing including wiring and plumbing, weathering including acrylic paints and pastel chalks and good 'ol Dull Cote.
