Well I think II qualified for this thread this morning.I went to mow the lawn and I was out of gas,my parents had both cars since they were at work so I duct taped a 2 gallon gas jug to the front of my trail 70 motorcycle to run to the station and get some gas.You should have seen the looks I got from some of the people at the gas station.

I got it and was really excited about the bee-camino because I am leading a CB about car to truck conversions.I am working on a '68 charger for it and though a month ago when the idea hit me "Man what an original idea!No one has ever made a charger pick-up before!" Well Tim Boyd beat me to it by 30 years or so.I will still carry on with my build mainly because it can't be built as a stock dodge charger anymore,If get my drift.

OK,went at it full throttle today.Once the styrene dust and bondo particles settled I had a basic 68 dodge charger/pickup.I also got the new issue of MCM in the mail toady and Mr.Tim Boyd beat me to it by about 30 years and made a charger pick-up.I will still carry on though!No pic's cause camera is lost some wheres.

Even If I don't build trucks that much....(Turns and sees 5 out of 8 completed models are trucks).....I think I will fit right in.

I know how to make bullet holes in clear plastic,but how do you make them in regular plastic or styrene?I am working on a Post-Apoc. truck for Dr. Cranky's CB.Also how do I make in scale weld marks?

Usually the day of the show the bench is scattered with food wrappers,BMF scraps,empty soda cans,countless paint marks and a thin layer of flocking that never manages to get into the paint.Once I get home I clean of the bench,do a pass and review of my prizes,and hang any awards on my wall.

It's all about the thrill of the hunt,that's what I say every time I go to someplace that might have models.Some times you can get good leads from people to.

I will be getting one in soon and I was thinking about making it a sleeper,Maybe droping a big 'ol Mopar engine in it and leaving it close to stock on the outside,I just can't think of any color ideas for the body.

Ok got the charger in the mail and drew out the cut lines.I think I know how to cut it,but i'm a little unsure.I'm questioning the design right now,but I will carry on.

The orange really POPS and makes the truck stand out.

My grand father has had around the same number of those old chevy trucks,There is a picture he showed me where it has my mom's 71,my uncle's 71 and my grand father's 72 all parked next to each other.

I remember this one from the game L.A. Noire,This and the Cord 812 were my favorite cars.
