After all the drama I see and hear at high school from Facebook I just stay away.This is the only forum i'm on.

Personal I have not,But a vendor at my local show told me this story.He was standing at his booth and a little kid came running into the room with a mother in pursuit and stuck his arm out as he was going past a table.He said at least 5 or 6 models were taken down before someone grabbed the little kid.Ever time I go to a show I put my models against the wall out of little arms reach.

Don't mean to steal the thread,the other day I was reading my uncle's old SAE April 1990 issue.I saw the "Clear view 2000" section and freaked out at how cool it was.I went to show my uncle and he explained that the town it was produced in was a dead giveaway.Los Bogaas.Man I feel stupid.

I came from the boonies in Kentucky,to me there is nothing more beautiful then finding a old car parked in a field or barn,sheltered from time.It's like stepping back into an era I never was in.

I get scared if I have to spend over 25 $ on one kit.The vendors at the three shows I go to know that I will haggle 'em down and walk away with what I want cheaper then what they have.I had a ball today at an estate sale,vintage kit hoarder+5$ kits=AMAZING.

I saw a vintage resin TRON tank on the bay yesterday.Would love to build it but I can't whip out 90+ dollars for one kit.

For that kinda cash I can buy 10 kits at a show!Looks like someone re-wrapped it.
