if available, 3M FineLine tape, the blue stuff, very formable, edges seal/burnish easily..Tamiya tape works real well also, not as formable as the 3m, but just as clean of a line...
make sure you check all the edges before you paint, don't load paint on, don't shoot 'up' a tape edge, ad infinitum...

i have good results using the 3M 2 part spot putty, dries fast, no shrink and sands/feathers easily...

i'm a firm believer in using acrylics for interior work, highlites, dry brushing, etc... and the best part, if you don't like it, wash it off!!! never sprayed any of this tho'.....

we also had to learn to parallel[sp?] park!!! todays 'manuever test' doesn't really teach anything except reaction time and how to kill cones!!! lol

supposedly, you have to make a decision wether to show the body with the doors on or off and wether to use the fluid piping...with the piping, the doors won't/don't fit....
i HAD a Mclaren kit from them that i traded for Monaro resin kit...just going on what i've seen/heard...

well, Okey NEVER got all he was supposed to tooling wise from the get go...oh, "that's lost, that's damaged, etc,etc"!! but, $$ had changed hands kinda thing and Okey kinda got 'used'...

Please understand , this is not pointed at you or anyone else . This is an opinion , based on my observations over the years while attending shows . Who knows ? Maybe some of the guilty parties will read this and it might give them pause ! There is always room for improvement !
totally understand...we've had a HUGE debates about this many times at meetings and my thoughts/feelings were for the 'regular' club member...and the Club does have a handfull 'those guys'...National Nameless Luminaries...lol

That's what I've done already. A pillars are sunken inside the body 'bout 1/8 inch.
