  1. I'm liking the frame, nice work.
  2. If the body is thin and transparent try painting the underside of the body a flat white with a few coats like you would paint an rc car body, that should help with the headliner problem and keep the white ghost paint your going for. I am going to buy this kit and build it up similar.
  3. that is nice, going to take alot of practice for me to get that good.
  4. That is a good idea tooltas, i was thinking about using choped up pens with caps moulded on, might go with that idea. Also need to find a fuel cell and get some wires n such for detailing.
  5. i like the color, thinking a similar green for my 50 chevy.
  6. Still need to make bags and get suspension finished. I still need to find some nice air compressors and a few tanks for this build as i have nothing really useable in the parts box other than some aluminum hydro pumps and huge fuel tank from old drag car, if anyone knows were to get some nice tanks and pumps let me know.
  7. looks good so far, i have an outlaw almost complete on my workbench, cant wait to finish it or see yours finished.
  8. nice build, love the stance.
  9. holy ###### that thing is a monster, you should make it a off road version with lift and huge michelins.
  10. Got the body sanded and primed again, will be ready for paint soon. I need to order up a few distributor and wire sets, braided steel wire and various other misc wires for a few builds going on and maybe some BMF and try my hand at that. Pics later this week when i get batteries.
  11. Nice build.
  12. Cool build, i had one similar planed for my next project. Were did u get the motor?
  13. Here is another project i have on the go on the workbench. 1/24 revell 1950 ford F1 pickup 2n1 Started off by smothing the body, firewall and filling in indents on fenders for a smoth look. Body is going to be painted a dark cherry red metalic. I then lowered the suspension to a nice ride height with what parts were supplied with the kit. I added full moon hubcaps and white walls. I am using the kit suplied Ardun equiped flat head for a heart. Interior is going to be mostly stock with a smothed dash and extended shifter maybe some bucket seats instead of the bench seat. hers ia a pic for now, body has putty on it waiting for a sanding, very good kit to customize.
  14. Hello, New to the forum, been building a few trucks and figured i'd post one of them. I have many ongoing projects and not many completed as of yet but im working on it. I like all sorts of customs from mild to wild and plan to build a lot of them, but now onto my current build. I started off with a 1/25 amt round 2 1950 3100 Chevy Pickup I was origionaly going to lower it with leaf springs and drop axle like i am doing to a 1950 ford F1 custom. But i did'nt like the ride height and had a left over IFS a arms from a old hot rod project and the rims and rear axle from the custom F1 along with some other parts box pieces i made a frame draggin air bagged custom '50 chevy pick up. These are just mock up pics for general fitment of body to chasis, i am pretty happy with the work so far and plan to finish this project soon. Drive train is going to consist of either a SB 383 stroker or a BB 454 both manual, rear c notch is going to be completed with some tube work and air bags with tank and pumps in the box but i have no idea on what to do with it yet. Body is going to be smothed out, no trim, door hadles, mouldings. Fire wall and engine compartment are going to be smoothed out and not 100% sure on what color to paint it. I'm thinking a silver metalic or dark cherry red metalic, nothing to outrages just a solid color as im not to good with painting bodys yet, soon to get an air brush setup. Interior is going to be smothed out and might throw in some buckets and a console with sub and speakers. Here is some mock up pics, let me know what u think. I am going to keep my progress edited in my first post to keep it all together. Going to update as much as possible as i have so many projects i bounce around to and from. Here is the frame in its early stages. Here is the interior in first mock up/ design stage. Here is a engine mock up, still early not sure if i want inner fenders or not? . Here is a few as a whole mock up, i used a sheet of paper to simulate the tonneu cover but needs some more work b4 ill be happy with it
  15. hello i just recently bought a revell 1950 ford f1 and am kinda stumped on how to build it, so if u can post some pics for insperation it would be apreciated. i will have pics of progress as soon as i can replace camera.
