Completed a while back with several scratch details...It was an awesome kit which is what I have always experienced with Revell kits most notably the German issues.

No the resin cosist of fenders, grill and bumper. An AMT mid 70s F-100 will be needed to source the cab which incidentally I picked up at am auction site. The buy was of the junkyard variety which was quite a bit cheaper than a sealed kit.

Yes and the accuracy is spot on.

Has anyone had any experience with AMTs COE Frightliner Re-Issue? I picked one up and see that it has some serious fit issues with the body panels. I will be starting a WIP soon and looking for info.

This is a project I worked a while back as a tribute to my dad. One photo shows him loading for a trip which is what the model (along with memories) was based on with a little help from a friends resin fenders and grill. My dad worked for this company for 43 years before retiring and hanging up the gloves.

Aaron a few months ago Evan Hermel had an article in Scale Auto that showed some of his work and a F-700 caught my eye. I wrote and ask for more details on the conversion, he had cast the fenders, grill and dash and had one set left at which time I bought them. I am not sure where one could but such so as you can imagine I was very pleased to get them and from a pioneer makes it that much better. TW

Mid too late 70s. I have already purchased Model Kings version of the 79 Ford F-350 and will be converting it using resin fenders and grill I purchased from Evan Hermel and an AMT C-600 COE for the frame and such. I also will have to scratch the entire tank and storage compartments from Evergreen. I'm off to pretty good start but I would love to have more reference materials. Thanks TW

Shell Tanker In the background of this picture is something I have started on but have limited photos of the subject. Has anyone here ever did a project of this nature? My dad drove for a Shell Co for 40 years at the same company but all I have are black and whites along with memories. Thanks for the help. TW

This is not one my usual subjects but it had been a long time since I tried my hand at one so something different was welcome. The last Semi project I did was way back when "Moving On" was popular and the kit was new (1977??) The Kenworth had a run in with a cliff or something of that nature if I remember right (I was 8 at the time) and did not survive. This go around I used a Revell of Germany kit that was started in Jan. and just now complete. I added a few details that was inspired by a 1:1 running around here where I live.
