  1. Just a quick question, what scale are Ross Gibson engines? I can't remember if they're 1/24th or 1/25th scale. I got the 1/25 scale "Gone Fishing" Dodge Ramcharger off E-Bay and the engine is a little on the weak side as far as detail goes. I was thinking of upgrading to a 440 but none of the local shops here carry Gibson stuff.
  2. That's the first thing that I said to myself as well. Good looking truck BTW.
  3. I just won the "Gone Fishing" set on EvilBay not 30 minutes ago! I "built" one when I was 15, but I never did it right. This time by it will be done right.
  4. I'd have to say the 69 Nova SS is a pretty good kit with plenty of detail. So far I'm not having any issues with it.
  5. I'm looking forward to the Revell Chevy pickup with SNOT plow.....
  6. Oh great! Now I have to wipe up drool off of my keyboard. Awesome job my man. I love the attention to detail.
  7. Thanks guys. I've been looking at some threads here and there and my head is filling up with some great stuff here. And it sounds like I have to wear my waterproof boots if there's a piddilin' happenin' around these parts.
  8. Hello there everyone. I just signed up today and I thought I'd say hello.........Hello. Anywhoo, My name is Danny, I'm 37 years old with the best wife a guy could ask for and a very beautiful 3 year old girl. I'm just getting back into the model building scene after being gone for 10 years or so. I primarily built 1:35 scale military vehicles and 1:48 scale aircraft, but I thought a switch to 1:25 cars and trucks would be a welcome change of pace. My first project is the Revell 1969 Nova SS 350. I have a 72 Nova in the driveway that needs restoring so I'm going to build the model the way I want to build my car. Think of it as a 1:25 version of my dream as it were. I've never been a "show quality" builder so I'm looking forward to learning new tricks and tips as I plan on taking my sweet time with this build. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all on the boards and bouncing ideas off you guys.
