  1. i got one from a frend this week
  2. Teardrop hood for the Revell '06 Mustang. These should be available in about 1 week. I'll be posting these on eModelCars. I'm going to see if this is a good alternative to ebay. I can offer these at a lowered price because I don't have to worry about all the ebay fees. If you're interested let me know. Sam
  3. New AAR hood for the new Revell 1:25 scale Cuda kit. This is not based on the old Revell AAR Cuda hood. This is my own creation. I used my friend's AAR Cuda hood for measurements. It should be availbale in about a week or so. I need to do some more finish work on it. I'm thinking of posting these on eModelCars, since a lot of people seem to not like ebay. I can sell for less on eModelCars without all the ebay fees. If you're interested let me know what you think. Sam
  4. RMR used one of my '41 Lincolns to make some sort of panel. You'd think they could have made their own. Sam
  5. No, This is a Freeman Cars casting. This is my creation. It is the 1941 Lincoln COE with trailer. I started making those about 15 years ago. Sam
  6. where can i get one ? sam
  7. Close, Revell '69 Corvette front end grafted on AMT '63 Corvette with '69 Corvette fender wells grafted onto the '63 body. Hood is a modified '69 Corvette hood. Funny, had to be shortened just like the guy who did the real conversion. I don't think it sold too well because you had to come up with the '69 front bumper from the Revell kit and use the AMT '63 Corvette for a base kit. I don't think this is one that will ever make it back into production, but who knows. Sam
  8. Is this the car you're talking about? It's Freeman Cars 63/69 Corvette. I never sold that many of them. People didn't notice the difference right off. It's too subtle for most people. Some people thought it was a custom Opel GT. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley in the 60s, there was a custom Corvette that was painted candy tangerine that was on the show car circuit. It was the inspiration for this model. The original owner still owns the car, it's painted black cherry now and driven on the street. It's a little more wild looking with flaired rear fenders. I might have the mold for this car laying around if anyone's interested. I'd have to look. Sam
  9. Studezilla, Stude Custom, Bat Tail Stude. It never really had an official name. Maybe I should have a contest to rename the car since I'm probably going to re-mold it and start casting again. Come up with a cool name get a free "stude". Sam
  10. WD-40 Most all my masters are sprayed with lacquer primer. In the past 25 years I have found that the only thing that RTV rubber will stick to is wood and lacquer primer. I polish my masters out to about 12000. Polish it with polishing pads, then lay on a coat of WD-40. Never had anything stick. Good barrier between the rubber and a two part mould is vaseline. I've tried the other stuff that companies tried to sell me, but nothing worked as well as vaseline. Not generic store brand either; real vaseline. There seems to be some difference, I'm not sure why. Sam
  11. I already make a stock metropolitan you can make as a convertible or with a hard top. It's basically a copy of the Hubley kit. I just have to make vacuum form windows, wheels, and tires. Also sell it without the wheels and tires for people who want to do something else. If you want an original Hubley kit, I think the Nash metropolitan museum in North Hollywood still has some for sale. Sam
  12. I'll post pictures of my other cars soon. Nash metro promod, VW single cap transporter promod, '32 Ford fuel alterd, Kellison J4 sports car, and Nash metro station wagon. I have access to one of the two metro station wagons built. It'll be my first real replica stock casting. Sam
  13. Here's a new '50 Olds Custom I have in the works. It will have slanted B-pillars. I may ad some other custom parts with it. This is my 4th new car this year since getting back into resin casting. Thanks for looking, Sam
  14. No problem Casey. I produced that Lincoln COE 15 yrs ago. I'm thinking of re-introducing it with some updates. I'll bet you $50 that the other Lincoln COE was based off of mine with some modifications (if it's the one I'm thinking of). It wouldn't be the first time somebody ripped off something I did. Sam
  15. there is one on ebay right now sellers name is carfreaks
  16. thats a freeman cars lincolin coe. also a freeman cars custom studebaker on the trailer.
  17. No, I'm still alive at this time. Yes I did a lot of funny car bodies and Mercedes was one of them. I still have most of the masters. I didn't really think anybody was interested any more. I have some new stuff I'm working on that I think is pretty cool. I'm expanding more into replica stock and sports cars but I will still do drag cars. Freeman Cars is still located in Carpinteria California. Email: freemancars@yahoo.com. Sam Freeman
