So I figured I would start a post about what engine/motor everybody is running under the hood. Under the hood of my 1966 ford galaxie I am running a 427ci 8 cylinder with velocity stacks in the tear drop hood. I will post pictures tomorrow

Dr. Cranky thats a very good idea how much did he charge ya for it -
I was just wondering what types of paint booths you guys use and what they are made out of. Personally mine is a cardboard box with one of the sides and the top cut out of it. If you dont believe me tell me and then i will post some pictures either tomorrow or thursday.

Heck maybe the 25$ I paid for my 1966 ford galaxie wasn't a great price after all. Man to bad they didn't have more if they would have had a 1960 ford f100 for sale for $10 I would have thought I hit the lottery!!! -

These kits are on ebay bidding ends in a couple of days i think i am not going to bid I still have to finsh one and then I think my next one will be a semi cabover or bronco!!!!!!

Marmon herrington was the company that bought them from ford converted them and sold them again. That is exactly what I want mine to look like only in 125 scale and an f2 or f3 -

Just checked ebay there are actually quite a few 51/52 model and diecast rangers and trucks P.S. rangers are basically panel vans -

I think I have found a solution I am going to TRY to take a 1973-79 4x4 use the frame and cut chop and smooth the reg. cab just to try to make it look similar if it doesnt work out I will just build it as a custom. -

kataranga have you ever seen a 51 52 model truck or have you ever seen just a grille? Thanks for all the info I will have to come back to this thread when I get a 60. Probably gonna be a while because I just got my 66 galaxie in the mail today so probably gonna have to start a thread about that aways down the road. Do you have a 60 for sale kataranga?
