man, you guys are fast. Just got back from vacation, not sure what I have posted. Finished the 904 motor and installed in car. Did the fuel tank, sanding it nearly flat and remade the straps using plumber's tape and styrene. Fed through wire snd used tiny rod for tie downs. Have cleared the metalizer, looks good. After I sand and polish, I will post.

I do lots of research. but mostly pictorial. i want to know exactly what the car looks like for as many angles as i can get. i print them out. hang them above my bench. i find it really helps me stay true to the subject -
I can't live without my Optivisor and LED lights attachment. Pin vise with mini bits CA glues Sanding sticks Assorted tweezers Jeweller's vise Air Brush & compressor 0000 paint brushes (and larger ones too ;-) ) Micromesh Assorted pins (I use these a lot to move small PE parts) Spray booth I could go on! LOL Jon

Hey guys, Made some real progress this weekend. Got a solid 6 hours of undisturbed time. So I am nearly done the 904 motor. All the return springs etc scratch built. As are all the wires etc. I tired Alex Kustov's fan belt technique, which worked great. I stil have some work to do detailing up the fan shroud on the back. Thoughts?
