Well guys i finally got Landys car finished! My first time using resin..what a pain! All in all it turned out pretty good for my first model in 2 years. I give it about a b+. Now mind you this isnt an exact replica of Dandy Dicks car. I kind of put my own spin on it just for fun. I had some fitment isues with the body to the frame. Its not quite right but its close. I worked on it for a long time but couldnt figure out what was holding it up. I think it it was the interior tub. The motor is a Ross Gibson Hemi. I have NEVER put that uch detail into a motor in my life. The dashboard,windshields and front bumper were all robbed from an original 65 screw bottom Ramchargers car. So what do you guys think? I cant get crazy detailed like some of you guys. Gonna enter it in a show tomorrow and see how it does. Heres some pics! Let me know what you think!....Joe

Well got alot done today! The motor is close to being done. Interior is pretty plain but its about done. Got the wheels on it. And i got the roof painted on the car! Trying to get it done for a model show in a couple of weeks. Its the most detailed motor i have ever done so far. I dont know how you guys get everything so detailed......lol. This wont be an exact copy of Landys car but close. Kind of my own spin on it. ..Check out the pics! ....Joe

Well im gonna work on the car a little today. Havent had much time working 65 hours a week.. I did find the corect dashboard for it. I robbed one out of and original 65 ramchargers parts car! Fits like a glove! Will try to post pics later on!....Joe!

Well worked on it some more today and getting really frustrated. Nothing seems to be fitting right and everything is fighting me. Biggest thing is im using the dash board from the 64 color me gone car and it just doesnt fit right. Getting fed up.........lol

Well heres the latest progrees on my awb. Not much done this week. Wife took over my desk so i had to find another space....lol.. Plus her and my son have both been sick. Gonna work on it a little today between football games. Heres a pic..Joe

All the pics ive found of Landys car show it has chrome bumpers. Well of course mine are resin so there anything out there for paint that comes close to chrome? I know ive seen that chrome paint a before but not sure how it would work.anyone? Any ideas?..........Joe

Well keep in mind im not trying to go totally bonkers on the detail. I just dont have the time or patiance for that...lol........just trying to make it a fun build thats pretty close to accurate. Not sure whos car im gonna make it now that i dont have the correst car for Landys..............or it could just be a "what if". I appreciate all the help you guys are giving me! Heres an update on my AWB. Got it all primered and ready to sand. Its really great quality and doesnt need any putty. Just needs a light sanding. Question is what grade should i use? I have 800,1000, and 200 grit. And as far as the motor goes its a Ross Gibson injected 426 Hemi. I know they say to primer resin put some of the parts are so darn small how the heck do you do it? Any ideas?.Heres a couple of pics
