  19. This ad poped up on my 'puter the other day. Don't care much for the ad, but the truck is cool. Anyone have any info on it. I think it would make a nice model
  20. We've all seen those car insurance commercials, and having it can be a good thing. But what do you do when your little car crashes?? A couple of nights ago, I was rearranging my model shelf. Well, I grabbed a model that was in a display case, and darn if the case didn't hinge open like a Hippo's jaw!. Out it went and SPLAT! on the concrete floor! My first reaction was...darn it! My second reaction was, stupid, stupid, stupid !!!!!! After walking around in circles for about 10 minutes, I calmed down. OK I thought, it's time for a search and rescue plan... Humm Returning to the accident scene, it was apparent that a Tow truck was needed, this was totaled! Getting the large pieces was easy, the small stuff (which flew everywhere) wasn't going to be so easy. Ah time for my search and rescue plan...... Ran upstairs and asked the wife for a pair of old pantyhose.......yup, pantyhose! What the heck you wonder? I got out my shop vac and pulled the pantyhose over the end of the vac hose. With this method, I was able to suck up most of the carnage, and just pick the pieces off the end. 99.9% recovered! So, now the dilemma, What should I do? Better yet, what would you guys do? 1. Try to rebuild? A few pieces snapped in two. Lots of body work 2. Throw it in the spare parts box and forget about it 3. Look around for a junker/parts kit for salvageable parts 4. Just get another kit and build a new one. Decisions, Decisions I just can't seem to make up my mind!
