Great build and paint job.

Great builds. I really love both of these cars and can't pick a favorite.
-
Great build, looks real.
-
How in the world did you do the silver detail around the steering wheel? Very nice build.
-
The paint job looks great.

Nice...looks like the real deal sitting there.

What's up guys. Just finished an AMT '67 Camaro this past weekend. Like most other AMTs there was an awful lot of excess flash from the molds on the plastic, so I found myself spending most of my time trimming the parts. I chose to paint this one pearl silver because I haven't painted anything that color. Now I see why. Silver is a very unforgiving color for an inexperienced lunkhead like myself. I did do all the trim work in argent, but you really can't tell it against the silver. I like the way the silver and black play off of each other, but my airbrushing abilities are just not what they should be to make it look good. Why is it that you don't see any '67 or '68 kits, only '69? I had to look really hard to find one. I got this one on ebay and I think its from the nineties. Thanks for looking.

Looks great

Man, I wish the '69 I built looked that good. Great paint.

Beautiful build.

Yeah cappy that's why I called it the Black Beauty. Jim's was the Blue Lady. Man he dogged that thing to death, didn't he. Me and my son have been listening to alot of Jim lately, he's getting into the Doors pretty hard. Thanks for all the kind words guys, I really appreciate it. The only fitting issues I had were the way the front end sits a little high for me (no choice due to the way the engine bay sits on the frame), and the trunk lid was a separate piece. You should really put some filler around it because the mold has a small chunk taken out of the top right hand side. I did get p**sed a couple of times while assembling it. I'll take a few more pictures and put them up. Thanks again.

What's up guys, this is the new Round 2 AMT '67 Mustang Shelby GT-350. Just finished it up this past weekend. I used pearl black with clear coat and gray striping. Still a little shakey on the airbrushing, but I think it turned out okay. Thanks for looking

Very nice and clean builds.

Nicest Boss I've seen yet.
-
Beautiful...wish mine could turn out like that. Great work.

Thanks guys for the comments. As far as the BMF goes, that really looks like something that I could make a real mess out of. I've thought about trying it but I don't think the end result would come out well (I'd probably end up taking a hammer to it.)

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Yeah, here's another one. I do realize the hood's not supposed to go up that far, woops forgot to lower it down when I took the picture.

This is my second time trying out the new airbrush. It's a Revell '70 Plymouth Superbird. The only thing I found at the local Hobby Lobby that resembled Petty Blue was Carribean Blue. It was a very difficult color to work with, but it turned out better than I thought it would. I've still got a long way to go with the airbrush technique though, but I'm learning. Thanks again for looking.

What's up guys. I've been reading the posts on this board for quite a while and this is the first I've posted. My wife bought me an airbrush for Christmas and this is my first stab at trying it out. It's just a stock AMT '68 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500. I mixed pearl lime and pearl gold together to get the color I wanted, then applied the clear. Thanks for looking.
