  1. Dreaming cost noting… A non time machine Delorean!!! Nissan Tsuru II, every Mexican car modeler will buy several of them Bugatti Veyron… Volkswagen Combi from any of the 80’s, not the samba bus, not the latests models with the horrible black grill on the front just a plain old Combi We all can dream…
  2. Chevelle 1970 I want to share my latest build after the disaster build of the Ford F-100, I decide to go for something simple, so I did this Snap model just for the fun. Let me told you about the painting process, the model came very polished I just sand away some mold marks, the emblems and the hood pins, re-polish this areas and ten apply just one coat of Tamiya X-1 black, then apply the decals and over it four coats of future, it ends really shinny but even then I polish more, sanding with 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000, the final shine was with Tamiya wax, you can see the excellent shine. I have applied the bare-metal over the windows and somehow the car did not look right so I remove it, and I believe that it helps to the over all look. I hope you like it and comment Bonus pictures: the interior before to be installed
  3. Thanks for your comments, @realgone58, is real wood I can not certainly say something more beyond that is used for diorama building, for the chrome underneath is bare metal foil.
  4. Hi everybody!!! here is my latest finish model the “vanilla ice cream truck” with chocolate cover!!! My worst paint job of 2013 it has a finger print… under the transparent coats!!! The main color somehow has variations in tone in some parts even when it was sprayed evenly… any way is done and is time for the next model… I might build some snap fast one that I have around, or a plane is been months since I build a plane. Enjoy and comment!!!
  5. thanks for your comments!!!
  6. Greetings good people I want to share my most recent builds two ford Model “T” custom from the AMT 3x1 kit, with this kit you can build 2 complete models one Hot Rod and one classic Model “T” but I decide to customize the classic… and here are the results: Here is the customization process most of it was made space for the engine, a ford mustang boss extra engine that I have lying around. The second one was almost out of the box except by some minor changes like the door hinges, the wiring but most of all the alclad candy red over some chrome parts that gives some special touch. Extra pictures Together at last!!! I hope you like them and comment!!!
  7. Again tanks for your comments. @Danno, yes they are, in this model the license plates have the Volkswagen logo raised but I don’t like that so I sanded it, then when I look for some license plates over the spare decal box and I found these from AMT’s ford phantom and I use them because… they are black and will harmonize with all.
  8. Thanks for your comments guys I appreciate them a lot. @dominik the black stripe responds to a paint issue, when I was apliying bare metal foil the paint chips, with the bare metal glue!!! and I haven’t enough paint to start over because around here alclad is an import and hard to get, last time took me 5 months to get the paint so I decide to apply some decal. By the way the body paint is Alclad candy orange @Zarana-X 70’s indeed they are from the AMT AMc 1976 grenmlin Here more pictures!! the engine before final assembly

  18. Help me to find some rims Make this question was the main reason for joining the forum, so here is the story: When I was a little pretty baby my Mom drove this: Well it was more like this: Since this was the car, I spend almost all my childhood I want to build by the big nostalgic means, so two years ago I finally got this one: Is not exactly the one, this is a fastback and my Mom’s was a hardtop but in the front is perfect with a little work on the interiors will make a nice replica, but here is the main problem, this are the rims options: But the one of my memories has rims like this: Here is the big question: ¿there is a model with rims like that? I hope that if that model exists is not one obscure out of production model since the last century. Because I want to get those rims for my nostalgic project Help me denizens of Model Cars Magazine forum, you are my only hope
