  1. http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=360833151225 Revell should probably change the name then
  2. Yeah should be fun it's my first gasser
  3. So the turquoise is a water based acrylic from a tube, sprayed it through my air brush first time and I think it came out great, trying to find better color options at a fraction of the cost for these weathered projects.
  4. Thanks everyone not completely finished but I wanted to get it up and on the forum
  5. Thanks guys, I've been very patient with the weathering and details on my models lately watching a lot of videos and trying new techniques. So far so good hopefully this one turns out nice, I have a couple more projects that I set aside that are making me itch to get moving on.
  6. Not sure where this one is going to go, fit is off in this kit and the engine is kind of shoddy
  7. Dr. Where did you get your tires from? I'd like to purchase the same ones appreciate the help!
  8. Here's some more finished the hood tonight layers of rust and steel with a white paint rusted away on top.
  9. I've been working on this for over 4 months start and stop build but I keep making progress on it, I quite like how it is turning out. This is what Steve would drive, you know, when not hanging out with The Avengers...
  10. have to lay off this build for a bit, moved to fast clear coat came out bad. may have to strip it down.
  11. Nice Job! I like it a lot
  12. I was also probably 1/2 an hour from you today, I was in Pittsburgh.
  13. Brian Looks great! I wanted to tell you I took the Cranky technique of spraying mud with the air brush and a brush mixed in the liquid mixture with powder rust. I wet the rust with alcohol to a slight thick paste run the brush through it and spray the bristles with the gun across the model in certain areas. It's nice because it leaves splattered rust marks so you can get a nice combination of colors.
  14. Looking good Tim keep it going this build is slowing down a bit, we need more eye candy!
  15. I was going to ask the same question about the decals John, but I figured you had a trick up your sleeve looking forward to seeing how these blend in.
  16. here you go, I know it's not Friday:
