So the turquoise is a water based acrylic from a tube, sprayed it through my air brush first time and I think it came out great, trying to find better color options at a fraction of the cost for these weathered projects.
Thanks guys, I've been very patient with the weathering and details on my models lately watching a lot of videos and trying new techniques. So far so good hopefully this one turns out nice, I have a couple more projects that I set aside that are making me itch to get moving on.
I've been working on this for over 4 months start and stop build but I keep making progress on it, I quite like how it is turning out. This is what Steve would drive, you know, when not hanging out with The Avengers...
Brian Looks great! I wanted to tell you I took the Cranky technique of spraying mud with the air brush and a brush mixed in the liquid mixture with powder rust. I wet the rust with alcohol to a slight thick paste run the brush through it and spray the bristles with the gun across the model in certain areas. It's nice because it leaves splattered rust marks so you can get a nice combination of colors.
