  1. Dr. Check it out: http://www.miniatura.co.uk/
  2. yes its the 3 window that was molded chopped.
  3. THanks for the compliment too!
  4. William I will try and post some pics of the frame, I "Z"ed the frame but kind of unconventionally. I used the stock frame from the kit I cut the frame into 3 individual pieces, I think I may have a stock frame laying around I'll shoot some pics side by side. it takes alot of measuring and making sure everything is leveled and your front end is straight. Mine is pretty ###### low practically touches the surface. My suggestion is always make sure you mock up the car first so you know how low you want it to be and that you don't go to low.
  5. Bryan I have a rust powder can I mix that with thinner and shoot it through the airbrush?
  6. Thanks for the tip, I saw the windshield wiper marks on another model somewhere- how do u get the stippled look on chrome bumpers etc with the air brush? I am trying to do it on some spare parts laying around but I can't seem to get it is it the pressure shooting through the brush? how thin or thick the paint is? needle size etc..? any help would be appreciated. I looked at few videos on your youtube page Dr. but can't seem to master it. Thanks for the help!
  7. I don't know whether you can tell or not but I hazed across the windshield lightly with a khaki colored tamiya paint so it looks like the windows are dirty I did the same with the head lights and little around the body. It looks better in person the iPhone photos look better on the phone than they do once uploaded.
  8. It's a fun little car, but in the article it states it was unveiled as the pace car for the Dubai 24 hr race... Gotta have money if your in Dubai to see the 24 hr. race... Imagine all those rich idiots over there salivating over this car. Nissan is cashing in on the More Money than Brains crowd! Go Nissan!
  9. hey thanks Rob, Thank God for the air brush - I can get in those tiny spaces easily and change the color in a snap. Headed to Maryland tomorrow for the Mid Atlantic NNL. Looking forward to it and seeing R&M there.
  10. Fun little build! where did kit come from?
  11. Guy, I did pretty much the same thing I angled the frame into 3 pieces, except I did not extend the front with the "Z" I was able to actually fit the front frame members (after some filing) into the hollow portion of rectangular styrene that I then glued to the adjoining frame. everything looks great, are you just using straight salt or a mixture, I am using a mix of kosher table and baking soda. the fine grain in the baking soda helps give that textured look and adheres quite well.
  12. What do you think Dr. does it pass muster? Particularly the engine-
