  1. Thanks Steve, and Brian. Corey
  2. Thanks Niko. Yeah it's Monogram. Built this same kit when I was like 13. Time to do it the way I wanted to back then. Corey
  3. Here's what it's gonna look like, but no vinyl top, pro street, with DEEEP rear/skinny front body color steelies with dog dishes. And maybe even some trim rings of some sort. Thanks for looking. Corey
  4. Wow Niko, I didn't realize you were so young. You've got some skill at a fairly early age! Keep at it my man, by the time you're my age you're gonna be spectacular. To MANY years great model building! And way to go on getting your sis into the hobby! That's great! Corey
  5. Here's a few pics of todays progress. Fixed fenders, and valance. Got everything sanded smooth and primed. Block sanded, and primed again. The new seams I made on the fenders need more filler, and sanding. Then block sand the whole thing again. I"m gonna open and hinge the trunk after everything's smooth as glass, work with it to make sure it's not binding, and then get a color coat on it. Thanks for looking. Corey
  6. Thanks guys! My FIRST time doing any photoetch, so let me know if you see me doin something wrong, or know of a better way on something. Corey
  7. Me too Bill! I have a how to article in the next issue. So I'm pretty anxious to see it also. It's my first article too. Corey
  8. Tyrone, Your 57 looks killer man. And yeah does that baby have a Hemi!!! Corey
  9. Here's a few pics of what I got done with the cuda today. Mainly just prep work for the photoetch before primer and block sanding. Thanks for looking. Corey
  10. Here's what I have so far with the Goat. Thanks for looking. Corey
  11. Thanks Carl. Im pretty happy the finished product. It would have been better built off of the T/A only kit. It actually has a better chassis/interior bucket design. Instead of the R/T-T/A version I have. It's based off of the diecast Vanishing Point model. And it shows in the overall build. Corey
  12. This build is now done except for outside rearview mirrors Just need more paint. Thanks for looking. Corey
  13. Thanks Brian, and Chris Corey
  14. Nova looks killer Twister. Corey
  15. Thanks Big Ed. It was alot of work, but I learned alot doing it. Corey
  16. Thanks Bill
  17. Thanks man. Corey
  18. Hello Jake. It started out as the Revell Hemi Dart. I cut the front clip open and hinged it so it will slide forward and flip up. The hood is the one that came in this kit. It also had the 68 Dart GTS building options to build it with a 440, GTS hood, etc. I scratchbuilt the hinge system from sheet plastic and aluminum tubing. Corey
  19. Thanks Austin, and congrats to you too. I think they worded it that way on purpose. LOL, When somebody asks you about it; just smile real big and say "Yep I sure do. I do some of the nicest models around." Cars that is. Tell them to get their heads out of the gutter. Corey
  20. Amen to all that Roger. Not a whole lot I would add to that. Except for 1/16 scale variations also. Corey
  21. Thanks Rob, and Andy. Yeah, I think it's cool that Revell and GearZ both stood behind it like they did. It's awesome that they're actually interested in seeing what people are doing with their products, and rewarding the winners of the contest so well for their efforts. I'd have been happy just to have them mention m name, let alone all of the great prizes from everyone. Maybe their contest being so well advertised will get some more young modelers interested in building. Corey
