  4. Loved it. It's really tiny in 1:32. Also love this generation of Fiestas. Great little cars to drive.

  6. Voting real. If the factory wanted to give me one, and if it were forbidden to sale it as condition for the give away, I would pass. I think ugly is not enough for this thing. My idea of beauty in cars is a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Club Vicky, all stock, in black, wide whites, turbine wheel covers, maybe a continental kit...
  7. Guys, thanks a lot for the compliments on the Impala. The paint I used I already told you is automotive synthetic enamel, what I didn't tell you, is that I bought the can last year for about 4,50 Dollars (yes, one liter of paint) have already painted two cars, and the can is almost full still. Talk about a cheapo paint job!!!! Also used my cheapo airbrush that is a knock off of a Badger 350, and costed 7 Dollars... Two years ago... and does the exact same job as the real deal 350, I know, I have one. With the price Tamiya is getting here, and that is the only modeling paint I use for car bodies, I'm giving a try to other ways to paint a car. Also, the foil, is household aluminum foil and white glue. I was out of Bare Metal when built the Impala.   8. Niko, that's actually great you said that. People think because I'm a Ford guy I hate them Chevrolets. Nothing could be more far from the true. The fact is I have a preference for Ford cars, but it's not a radical thing, otherwise I wouldn't have a full scale Chevy truck in my garage. I really like the AMT kit. Maybe most of all just because it's so simple. I have one, still in the box, that has lights!! Also thanks on the paint job.

  10. Started on this Chevy on the First of January. It's a replica of a 1:1 Impala owned by my grandfather in the '60s. His car was black, with a dark green interior, and that is what my 1:25 scale version is. The paint I used on the body is automotive synthetic enamel. All the rest was painted with Testors enamels and acrylics. The only aftermarket stuff is the distributor and plug wires. Also built from sprue a upper radiator hose. Hope you guys like it.   11. Loved it, just the right look, with the right balance of stock and custom parts. That floor shifter looks great, like if it had came from the factory with the car. The colors on the interior also make it look apart. Great choices. Just the side distributor looks odd on a '40 Flathead. Easy fix. Some black wash on the grille would make this awesome build even more awesome. Another great choice was the Tamiya paint. That shine will last for a very long time.

  14. I don't think it's wrong to compare it to the Tamiya from the '90s. Good kit engineering and accuracy doesn't depend on time. A fine example is the AMT 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Club Victoria, a '60s tooling that is so accurate on it's body forms and contours I still think it's better in that department than the Revell 1957 Ford Custom Tudor kit, that is from 2012. Most AMT annuals, derivative from the respective Promos from the '60s were dead on accurate body wise, of course not being as detailed and not having as many parts as more modern kits, but body accuracy is just the problem this Beetle has.

  17. It's a nice build. Petty that even being a 1:20 it lacks so many detail when compared let's say to a Tamiya or Revell Beetle, in smaller scale. One thing they could had done better are the door hinges, that look way too big, and the front bumper, that also looks out of scale.
  18. Harry, they all look great, but your Class of 2014 looks more like Class of 1935 Even being a Ford man, that ITALA stole my heart. Great car, and great model.
  19. Loved them all. People fail to understand the work it takes to make a resin kit to look like that. Tried once, and that was enough for me. I specially loved the Mercury.
  20. Thanks again gentlemen:) The 1970 Chevelle is the AMT kit. Painted it with some left over paint from my '65 Galaxie from the previous year. The stripes are the kit's decals under the clear coat.

  22. Hi James!! It took a while, but something got fixed. The wheels on the '32 Vicky are from the AMT '34 Coupe, that is real life have the same diameter and overall looks as 1932 wheels. Happy 2015 to you too!!
