  2. You're one crazy builder John!! Simply amazing build!! :D
  3. One of the Most Spectacular builds i have ever seen.... i'm already a huge fan!
  4. Thats just hard luck JT!.... I hope nothing like that happens to this Scania! Thanks Co!! I'll definitely see what i can do with that bumper! Thanks a lot Jaroslav!!...those pictures are very useful indeed!! The wiring diagram is exactly what i need!!
  5. THIS is what i call SKILL!!! What a true artist you are!!!.... I'm absolutely AMAZED by this build!! :D
  6. Well i'm from India.... 1 Billion + people and just 1 dedicated online hobby shop located in one big city. Model building is considered 'playing with toys' here... (sad but true) i don't know of any famous builders here nor have i heard of any! I know the hobby has MAJOR potential in India, but whats keeping it back is the lack of material, lack of re-sellers, and lack of major modeling communities! I know of a group of people who are trying to build a substantial community but it isn't really taking off!!
  7. I need a little help here.... I'm looking for detailed wiring / plumbing diagram(s) for this particular (R143) rig. I've tried looking on various sites but can't seem to find anything!.... anyone with any kind of wiring details for this rig please let me know! Thanks!!
  8. Scania R143 Streamline Build (1/24 Italeri) This is my very first Truck build and i'm mighty excited to be doing this. I've so far started on the engine (which is beautifully detailed) and the main chassis or frame. I've chosen a gorgeous Silver on Black paint scheme i will be following (shown in the picture below). I don't like the stock paint scheme and livery so i'll make the new livery myself. WIP Pictures Inspiration:
  9. I hear ya cliff!! I know a lot of people prefer the desk pics... it shows off the model as it should be... a model!
  10. For people so skeptical about my pics.... here is the model just sitting on my desk....
  11. I'm a Photoshop novice dude!!! no where near a Master!!!
  12. Like i said... no hard feelings! I know a lot of people who don't like my style of photography.... they say it doesn't show of the real deal!.... Its my fault by not sharing my WIP thread here.... I'm building a Scania 143m Truck now.... will post a thread for that so members are aware that this truly IS my model!! :D
  13. Thanks man!! My favourite part on this car were the brakes!! Yup, the handle's there... just a little too faint to see with all the bright white light!!! (i believe it can be seen slightly in the last pic! Thanks !! Thanks! LOL!!.... Thanks you !! Thanks a lot! Thank You!
  14. No problem dude... Let me clear up a few things... The pictures are colour / brightness corrected and the background is photo shopped! Apart from modelling i love photography... and the one thing you learn in photography is no matter how good a photographer you are, the image sensor of the camera is just not good enough to captures the depth of colour and brightness as our eyes... to enhance the picture further, post processing is a must!! I do understand that the door handle markings cannot be seen.... there's a reason for that too! Firstly, the passenger side markings are very faint as i didn't scribe them before painting and the passenger side markings are almost completely hidden! (my mistake) Secondly, i'm shooting a white car on a black background with immense amount of light!.... this is a photographer's worst nightmare... till date i think white on black photography is considered to be a very difficult thing to do justice to, just because of the amount of light the subject reflects... the camera is set at a very high shutter speed to capture this picture, but still the light manages to wash out some parts of the model! I have a thread on another forum detailing the build process of this car.... i'm not sure if the admins will allow me to post the link here but if they do then the link is right here (below).... please feel free to go through it.... you'll get all the clear close up pics of the car without photoshop!! Oh and BTW... this is NOT a real car nor a Die-cast model (no one sells a detailed DBS in die-cast till date!) Link to the build: http://www.escalemodels.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12143&hl=&fromsearch=1
  15. Thanks M! Yes, the background is Photoshop! Thanks for the appreciation! Thanks! LOL!... Thanks a ton!
  16. Aston Martin DBS (Pearl White Custom) (1/24 Tamiya) Well after a long time she's finally done... Loved this kit and enjoyed building her a lot!.... Swapped the Stock rims for the sexier Aston spoke rims, and added a lot of wiring and plumbing details to the engine... Enjoy the pics...
  17. Thanks Chuck!! ... that's quite a big compliment!
