The reason is that I don't know how to attach them and at this time I don't trust my customizing skills, I have a bunch of parts, a spare camaro body, need to find a frame for it, possibly a prostreet chassis
Your not the only one who loves the R8's.

1.) for primer I used Rust-Oleum automobile primer and for the color I used Rust-Oleum flat (black) Protective Enamel. With the primer you want to work it up or your going to get "crack lines" in the primer and then it will have to end up in the purple pond because they are a bitch to sand out.
2.) the kit cost me 20 plus tax at Walmart that's also where I picked up the paint.
Okay now for the update, the Audi is sitting in the dull coat clear right now will be posting pictures of it up once its done curing. Debating if I want to keep the rims chrome or de chrome them and paint them flat black. Comments and suggestions are welcomed
Had a paint job accident so had the body sitting in the purple pond and now starting all over, the Audi is going to be flat black and the interior will be black with green inserts

Here is my 1986 Monte Carlo SS. My son got a hold of it so I took it apart and took a picture of it before sending it for a swim in the purple pond.
before purple pond swim
the aftermarket rims de chromed and painted with Tamiya Gun Metal
the body and bed in the final whit base. Masked off the engine bay so I don't get the one coat laquor in there
Oh I am, I found my missing parts so now I'm going forward, some how the 2 pieces I was looking for where in my freezer.... Well at least I got them. The body and bed are both in color just waiting for them to dry to take pics of it.
Got the body and bed painted with Testors Lime Ice one coat laquor needs to be wet sanded and another coat. Decided that I'm keeping the aftermarket rims it comes with, just de chromed them and currently painting the gunmetal grey
