It was at the correct angle when I got it. It's now in the scrap bin because it no longer works with what I'm doing with the car.
I thought you did a chop-top thing with it, thought that was kinda cool!
ah got it, thinner worked great thanks
usually i do use vise-grips because of the precision, but i too had a bottle explode on me... happened to be red and my shirt was white... looked like a crime scene lol
I'm down to no other options other than the stock single carb and round air filter which I don't want to use on a pro-street engine.
Is there any tips anyone can give me about a custom intake? preferably simple to make as I don't have the space to run my compressor in my garage yet to run air tools.
Ended up taking the "realistic" option and added as much oxidization as I could. Made that old charger into a junkyard/barn find
Might make my plastic camaro the prostreet car.
Unfortunately it's die-cast with die-cast drivetrain.
Was fully built until the glue I bought started to give way so I took it all apart to rebuild it and forgot about it. Needless to say parts are now missing. Now I don't know whether to weather the paint and make it into a "junkyard find" or find some new wheels, make a new door/dash etc.
I just finished a rat rod 55 bel air that turned out nice and I like the way rust looks as a scale model
On the other hand I don't want to ruin a beautiful model.
Any suggestions?
