Happy spring to all,,just finished this up,,its actually 3 large scale Revell kits in one. Started with glue blob 1/2 assembled bag of parts from the swap meets. The Revell large scale police bike, circa mid to late 70's for the motor and frame, back wheel. And then I used some leftover parts from the large scale Triumph chopper kits for drive box,,rear fender + oil + battery box,, And drag style seat. Front springer ++ handlebars are from the large scale snap harley kit from the 1990's. Front wheel is from one of the ol Revell drag bike kits as is the speedometer+light. Scratch built the rear grab bar + and plate/rear light setup. Sprayed rattlecan testors orange,,hand painted everything else. Decent results from glueblob bag for 5 $ Thnx for lookin.

3 wheels,,4 cylinders,,and loads of fun for all! My version of the infamous "TIKI TRIKE". Fun little kits to do,,although I did have to use the maginfier lens to assemble some of this. Sprayed w/Tamiya Mystic green,,custom mix paint for frame,,dechromed everything and sprayed w/Testors Diamond dust. Was thinkin how cool these series would be if they were 1 /8 th scale! I dig the Honda CB 750 mtr in these,,the 1:1 CB 750's make great choppers ,,Im lookin for a used one on Clist to make a chopper in my garage,,fun, fun, fun. Build on!

Happy holidays to all,,wishing you the best for 2016! Its been awhile,,I got this at a recent NNL Mtr Cty area show,,its a 1971 1/8th Revell "LA Street chopper" kit .That I /built /converted to the " Captn America chopper". At the show when I found the kit,,it was at the bottom of a stack of leftover 1/2 built glue blobs,,almost didnt see it at first,,then I caught the corner of the box ,, and freaked when I saw it!!,,,soooooo,,,had to have it. " 35$ and its yours" he said,,,,I had my wallet out in seconds. Got it home and never looked back. I have wanted a Captn bike for many yrs,,but never saw one out there in a kit form. It does have a different front fork than the movie bike{ movie bike has a single tube fork design} and the gas tank is a bit larger than the movie bike,,but other than that,,its pretty close. Enjoy everyones build here,,really great stuff. All the best,,Scotthttp://s1327.photobucket.com/user/axlemount112/media/001_zpsrpevhpy9.jpg.html?o=10
