C1 resin trans kit but I didn't us the interior as it left no room for an engine. Since its a van I used a late model aircooled engine from the t3 bus so its double the usual horsepower for a beetle and a lower engine so the floor isn't too high. Speaking of the floor it a very heavily modifed one from the t3 camper so i could use the engine bay. I've also modifed a set of 70s beetle bumpers to look like early golf gti bumpers. I'm not sure what the wheels are from but they are heavily modified at the rear for maximum dish. Its also slammed but I'm sure you expected that, lol. So thats the 5th vw project i have on the go just now and i think I've managed to keep them all different enough to keep them interesting

ALL-VW Model Car Contest/Show on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 9am to 3pm at Peoria Volkswagen, 8801 W. Bell Road, Peoria, AZ 85382 (Northwest Phoenix metro area). The model contest/show is being held in conjunction with Peoria VW's First Inaugural Classic VW Car Show and Charity Event. Model Car Registration from 9am to 11am; no entry fee but donations to the charity are welcome. There will be four awards; Best Bug (beetles, all years), Best Buggy (dune buggies, sandrails, similar cut-down VW vehicles), Best VDub (all other VWs), and Best of Show. Open to all Volkswagen models and/or models of Volkswagen powered vehicles. At the same time, there will be a 1:1 VW car show with scores of vintage, custom, and racing VWs, as well as the new 21st Century Beetle and other new Volkswagens on display. Check out the 1:1 car and memorabilia swap meet. And, VW parts/accessories/memorabilia vendors, food and entertainment will be on hand.
