I hope this is in the correct section to attract the most readers possible. I just received a copy of Tim Boyd's newest book"Collecting Muscle Car Model Kits".It is published by Car Tech,Inc.from Forest Lake,Mn. For those interested in locating a copy for yourself.the ISBN number is 978-1-61325-395-3.This a 175 page glossy, full color book that really covers all model car kit production from it's earliest days to the current adult oriented focus group. The color photos alone will make vintage model kit builders and collectors want to look through their own collection and most probably renew a lot of interest in filling in those "most wanted" slots in your stash of vintage kits. This is without a doubt the most in depth and throughaly documented book about our hobby currently available. You will find glossary of terms involved with the production of model kits along with some seldom seen info about the major kit manufacturers themselves. Overall I highly recommend this book for all those of us who have a common love for this hobby and can almost guarantee you will come away with a better understanding of all that's involved in the production, collecting and building of muscle car model cars.

Greetings, I'm Glen and at the ripe old age of 59, I've decided to start building models again, which I last did when I was about 12-14. After completing a couple of kits, I've realized that age hasn't improved my skills, just my expectations for the results. I've picked up a lot from reading forums and the magazines, but I need lots more practice. So far I've been mostly interested in classic muscle cars. I know I'm going to have questions from all you experts. Is the General forum the place where I should post them?
