I was excited that they added the C stripes to the kit. I really wanted a color that would show off the stripes. I decided that dark green color from my Dart build would be perfect. The kit is a great build and everything goes together nicely. Bit of a head scratcher; the C stripes are in the decals, but the hood stripes are not. The Charger R/T decal for the rear is also not on the sheet. There is also mention of three different decals being decal 29. The radiator belt decal, part of the wood grain decals for the center console (actually 30 something), and the rear R/T badge (not there) are all marked decal 29 in the instructions. I finished up the Revell 1968 Dodge Charger R/T yesterday. The paint is Model Master Plum Crazy Metallic Lacquer with Model Master Clear Gloss. The wheels were airbrushed with Molotow Chrome and are from Mad Modeling, while the front tires are from the kit, and the rears from Fireball Modelworks. The interior is a combination of Apple Barrel Gloss White for the seats and door panels, Stynylrez White Primer for the headliner, Stynylrez Black Primer for the carpet and rear shelf, and Apple Barrel Gloss Black for the dash. I used the optional 426 Hemi and cut and bent the exhaust to mate with the headers. I used BMF for the window and fender trim, and hand painted Molotow for the taillight panel trim. I added valve stems, door locks, and ignition wires for extra detail. This is an excellent kit with lots of extra parts, including an engine stand, to build the stock, custom, or drag version. I can definitely see myself grabbing another 1 or 2 of these in the future. Thanks for looking!

Hello there! I'm new to Modelcarsmag and I wanted to start off with a build I did about 2 years ago of one of my favorite car movies and the best version of a 1969 R/T Charger in my book. This is the car from Dirty Mary Crazy Larry I positioned the wheels turned just because that car didn't see to many straight roads. haha Also had to add the little cb antenna like the one in the movie
