Finally finished this one. Excellent Tamiya kit was a joy to build, everything fits like its supposed to. I also appreciate the thought that went into sprue attachment points minimizing the amount of clean up and putting them where they won't be seen. Livery from Indycals, I always liked this scheme and was happy to add up-and-coming NASCAR drivers to the doors. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Finished this one last night. Only my second Tamiya kit, everything people say about them is true. The body on this one was so nice I decided not to paint it, just some foil work. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

So what we have here is a Tamiya 1/24 Alpine A110 1600SC. I did a little research and learned that the car did have some prominence in the 60s and 70s rally races, and did good in the snow. So i decided to build it up as if it was in a snowy environment parked overnight and the cold weather created a frosted look on the car. To achieve this, i painted it Tamiya metallic blue, and topped it off with a dull coat misted from about 3ft away from the model. The platform is just made of random weeds and pebbles, and on top of sandpaper. i then used woodland scenics materials to add the snow. Thanks for looking!
