BubbaJoe Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) on most Saturday mornings you can find me prowling around flea markets and yard sales looking for junk.. one of the things i collect are old die cast cars. matchbox, corgi, tootsie, bar clay and london... mostly form the early 50's to 70's... since i started modeling i'm now on the look out for anything related to this hobby as well... paint, kits .etc etc... once in awhile i find something really neat... last weekend i happen to spot this and could not pass it up .thought some of you might get a kick out of it i think its from the 60's or early 70's but i'm not sure.. oak tongue and groove case filled with modeling tools. High octane Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Nice haul, as I remember seeing that tool set way back when.
Old Buckaroo Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I remember seeing those - I think X-acto called it a "Master shipbuilder set" or something similar. Nice find , let me know if you ever want to part with it.
JunkPile Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Careful.....you could poke your eye out with some of them.
DrGlueblob Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I had one when I was 10 or so. The drill was neat.
unclescott58 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I remember seeing that set in the old Auto World catalogs back in the early 70's. Scott

BubbaJoe Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 thanks..i'm torn between using the tools or keeping it intact
randx0 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I would use it , unless it just doesn't work for your building space or style.
