72 Charger
Ive always left off the hood hinges on my cars simply because I like to have the hoods closed but I also like to show the engines off sometimes . So I always have to use a tooth pick to hold up the hood which looks like a log holding up the hood. Does anyone make working PE scissor hood hinges like in most American cars in 1/25 th ? blunc
Trumpeter included PE hood hinges in their 1960 Pontiac Bonneville kits but I haven't gotten around to working on them yet. From what I have seen, most builders give up on them.
my80malibu
A thin piece of stainless wire, would be a better choice to hold those hoods up.

randx0
I usually find the Aber stuff on ebay I haven't been able to find a U.S. supplier. The M.A.S. (machined aluminium specialties) I got off Ebay as well.

Chrischu33
One thing I sometimes do is I got some metal/copper wire from hardware stores and kind of shape it using pliers, works pretty well for me!
